Star Trek Into Darkness Official Teaser Trailer (added Japanese trailer with more scenes)
It's finally here!!
The new teaser trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness under the cut
THE FULL THEATRICAL TRAILER (which will be approx. 2:30 long) WILL BE RELEASED ON DECEMBER 17 - so that one should reveal slightly more than this teaser :)

Current speculation I'm seeing on tumblr is that Benedict Cumberbatch (whose role was kept completely secret) is playing baddie Gary Mitchell, from the episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before." The speculation is mainly based off the appearance of a blonde haired woman in the trailer who bares a strong resemblence to Dr. Elizabeth Dehner (same hair style and everything) from the same episode...
As I've never seen this episode... or at least don't recall it, I'm going to check it out later :)
HERE IS THE JAPANESE TRAILER which is about 15 seconds longer and includes a particular shot that should seem VERY familiar at the end...which is making some people speculate Benedict Cumberbatch is playing Khan, despite Abrams and Co. saying nope... who knows. We'll find out eventually.
