Hello brilliant people! How are you spending this Sun before Thanksgiving?

Kept forgetting its thanksgiving next week, which is apparently why we went to Vermont yesterday instead of next week. Burlington was the cutest place ever and full of Canadians, which really should not have surprised me :P

cool! I've never been to Vermont. Are the colors of the leaves really beautiful? or have they all fallen off by now?

Yeah its pretty much winter by now, but I think I'm gonna go back there at Christmas when its all snowy and stuff. Saw the most picturesque sunset of my life on the water across from the (Green?) mountains, though. *siiiiiigh*

I also went through the Adirondacks a few weeks ago and it was just breathtaking in autumn, and I'd only ever seen them in the summer before.

Good Sunday evening everyone! How is everyone enjoying the first month of Christmas? I personally love how holiday season basically starts November 1st.

So I'm working on a really big project that's looking a lot like this right now

That sounds like an fun holiday season! I love it when everything gets amalgamated into a big family party. We have something similar for all the June birthdays+Canada Day+Independence Day and the family from NJ visits on the holiday weekend and there's like 25 people in my aunts house, its great.

...wow it's quiet.

Awesome square dance today. Sad that we don't seem able to get that many dancers together for anything short of beloved national caller celebrating her fiftieth calling anniversary, though. Or a national convention.

One of my best friends has been square dancing for years and constantly has despairing diatribes about the dwindling number of dancers. :(

My club, median age is 26, but that is entirely because we had the good fortune to snag a couple homeschooling kids for their phys ed credits, and they liked it so much that the next year they brought their friends, which makes three large families not counting mine. If we ever tempt in the rest of the K family, the club's median age will be about 20, because there's just that many K kids. And some club members of long standing walked, and they say they'll come back if the youth leave, but they seem not to have realized that, one, the club's finances kind of depend on the youth dues, and two, my family consists of the club president, the club treasurer, and five people under twenty-five who include two past officers because these longstanding club members weren't stepping up to the plate and there isn't actually anything in the bylaws that says fifteen-year-olds cannot be officers. We do not miss these longstanding club members ( ... )

Not much really - just thinking about how much I don't want to work on Thanksgiving but really need the money since it's the only job I've got right now and thinking about writing a Christmas fic later in the week. You? Things good?

Ah, no fun! At least you'll be earning overtime though, right? And Christmas fic is the best fic 8D

I have been SOOOOO busy! But I got lots of comics to look forward to this week instead of SPN, so itll be fun. I'm also looking forward to Christmas holidays so, so much! Its gonna be 2 weeks of eating, sleeping, knitting and Murder, She Wrote marathons (just like last year) :P
