Not much really - just thinking about how much I don't want to work on Thanksgiving but really need the money since it's the only job I've got right now and thinking about writing a Christmas fic later in the week. You? Things good?
Ah, no fun! At least you'll be earning overtime though, right? And Christmas fic is the best fic 8D
I have been SOOOOO busy! But I got lots of comics to look forward to this week instead of SPN, so itll be fun. I'm also looking forward to Christmas holidays so, so much! Its gonna be 2 weeks of eating, sleeping, knitting and Murder, She Wrote marathons (just like last year) :P
Well, it's basically just an extra shift so I'm mostly getting extra tip money (I work at a restaurant)
Reading is something good to keep you busy on a non-show week. I'm hoping a book I put on reserve in the library comes in soon so it'll give me something to do besides trying to write. I just can't wait until my mom and I get to start baking for the holidays since we always make a ton of different cookies. :D
I haven't been reading nearly as much as I'd like to, but then again as-much-as-I'd-like would be almost ALL the time! :P Maybe your reading will help inspire some writing!
I'm so looking forward to the holiday baking, ahhhhh! What kind of cookies are you partial to baking? I am wayyy too lazy to roll out cookies so i always make ones you just drop by the spoonful onto a sheet, so it can be somewhat limiting at holidays when most of the fun is decorating and such. I think I'm gonna make some nutmeg biscuits, some shortbreads, ginger cookies, the like. Okay, now I'm hungry :P I think I'm gonna make a lot of cakes as well; its just so easy to throw together a gingerbread or nutmeg cake.
I could use a little inspiration for some of my works, both of the fic and fanfic kind.
We're going to try a few of the roll out kind since we bought a few cut outs after the holidays last year but mostly we do spoonfuls like different types of chocolate chip, crescents, oatmeal, etc and last year I got a rip away calendar that was 365 days of cookie recipes so I'd like to try some of those out as well.
