Kept forgetting its thanksgiving next week, which is apparently why we went to Vermont yesterday instead of next week. Burlington was the cutest place ever and full of Canadians, which really should not have surprised me :P
Yeah its pretty much winter by now, but I think I'm gonna go back there at Christmas when its all snowy and stuff. Saw the most picturesque sunset of my life on the water across from the (Green?) mountains, though. *siiiiiigh*
I also went through the Adirondacks a few weeks ago and it was just breathtaking in autumn, and I'd only ever seen them in the summer before.
Yeah it sometimes they even start to change colour at the end of September. A friend and I also drove up to Quebec City in October and EVERYTHING was red, it was wonderful.
I really like New England, possibly because it looks a lot like Quebec :P It's similar but different and not too far, though I haven't been there much since I was a kid, but still I recommend it, especially Maine for the beaches.
well since I'm making so many & in my house instead of my mom's (her stove broke) I don't have the pie tins I need so I went with pre-made crusts. I'm making pecan pies, pumpkin pies, apples pies, & a chocolate silk pie too.
