When did you become a SPN fan: About 2009. I managed to catch an episode of Season 1 when it aired here with us in South Africa and immediately I went out, got the DVDs and from there I was hooked! Episode 7.10 just aired here with us, but unfortunately I know what happens next because of spoilers and that saddens me a lot. What kind of hurt!Sam would you like to see in S8: Any kind of hurt, as long as big brother Dean is there to take care and look after Sam. I love the closeness of the brotherly bond and feel that the romantic subtext distracts from that. Spoilerphobe? No. However, I am a very big phobe of the negative reactions. Let me know what happened. If you don't like it, don't share it with me. I don't wanna know that. I wanna enjoy the show on its own merits. I rarely read reviews anymore--even after watching the ep--unless I'm very familiar with the reviewer. I LOVE my show and don't need to read three pages of why a 'fan' is never watching the show again week after week.
Me neither. I don't like feeling exhausted or let down after watching an episode reading so many negative reactions. I just write my own review and talk amongst/speculate fellow fans and that's about it.
Like you, I love the show and don't feel like dealing with so much negativity that always comes after new episodes or spoilers or what not. I try to stay away as much as possible.
I am also a negative reaction-phobe! I love Show and while I may not love everything it does, I want to still be able to enjoy it. A lot of people on the interwebz make that very hard anymore >=(

I'm a pretty versatile reader. Spoilerphobe? Generally no. I don't mind being spoiled, even though I TRY (Key word here *g*) not to be. What kind of hurt!Sam would you like to see in S8: We STILL have not seen our proper hospitalization Sammy with Dean by the bedside looking pensive and worried. Sam's hallucinations and issues went away just to easily and fast for my taste, after the buildup I feel we got the carpet pulled out from underneath us. Also I wouldn't mind any injuries like gunshots, stab wounds etc. (What can I say I'm a sadist!) If the internet was to disappear today and you only had the chance to save one fan fiction (or one author), which (who) would it be? *le gasp* I do not even want to think about it! Lucky me though if the Internet DID disappear I have a whole hoard of PDF's saved so I'd say I'd be ready for it *g* All time
