LJ has decided that we can not have "/" in tags. I am taking suggestions on how to fix our pairing tags. My first thought is something like GabrielxSam.
Not such a great idea, really. I've seen that used mostly for gen "pairings" so it could get insanely confusing for people who are looking for Sam/Gabriel friendship fics.
I agree with the AxB idea since it's one of the more common ways of denoting a relationship in a pairing. Are you sure about the no "/" thing though? The tags are still showing up with that symbol in them. O_o
All tags containing a "/" symbol are broken, resulting in an unhandled error when you try to click on them. The URL of the error page shows that they're being replaced by "&2F" for some reason, and if you manually replace the "%2F" on the error page with a "/", the tag works, it's still a huge hassle and something LJ should fix immediately.
Ah, okay. At least it looks like something they didn't mean to take away (judging by the content of the post over there) and it just went derpy because of some coding problem. Stupid LJ. Grr.
I would suggest don't fix anything just yet. I'm really hoping that LJ can fix this because tons of people aren't going to be happy with this unexpected change. I'm keeping mine up until something is done.
Nothings being changed yet because dear god I do not have time on the first full week of classes for this. I just wanted to make sure I had a good sense of what would for the community as a whole if a change did need to be made.

If we have to switch, the x works better, I think.

I'm just praying they do it fast. The idea of renaming all the tags on my graphics journal is O_O making.

In my own journal I don't use anything. It's just deancastiel or castielgabriel.
It's one word and everyone gets it.
