Hello! Hello, Splendor.

I have a brilliant idea, you see, what this city is lacking is, well, besides television (am I right?), a proper lab.

A place to learn things, and take kids on little tours, maybe a fusion reactor or two. Most importantly, a place where we can do tests.

Yes, testing is the most important part of any laboratory, thing, ( Read more... )

I didn't know you were a scientist, Mr. Wheatley. What kind of tests are you doing?

[ oh no, it's that totally harmless friendly girl from before. ]

Perfectly safe and friendly ones, like, petting small horses, and baking cakes!

And, and, um. potato batteries.

Petting small horses and baking cakes? Those sound like a lot of fun. I've never heard of a potato battery before. What kind of testing is that?

Ahm, well.

You can get a small charge of electricity from a potato, under certain circumstances.

Testing, huh... [he doesn't like the sound of that.]

Why?

[ You're all far too suspicious of things. ]

For knowledge.

[As we should be]

What kind of knowledge?

But that would ruin all the surprises we have for you!

Like, ahm, presents!

[So this place has also drawn in scientists, has it?

What an interesting idea, then, to hear someone talk so openly about his wish to gain knowledge and understanding of this place and it's people - or at least that how it appears. After all, this 'Weatherly' has yet to reveal what exactly he wishes to study.

Hmm... perhaps there is indeed a chance to use this to his advantage.]

Mr. Weatherly, is it?

May I ask what kind of experiments you hope to perform?

Wheatley, yes.

Oh, fun ones! Let's say you take one human and you put them in a room, and the room slowly fills with deadly gas, and then you tell them to figure out how to open the door. But! They are also in their underwear. Dastardly clever, isn't it?

[...Now there is an experiment that serves absolutely no purpose.

However, the mere idea - if truly meant - suggests that maybe this Weatherly is not all too concerned about ethics and that is something Ansem can definitely work with.]

Indeed, it is.

You said you were looking for investors. Would you also be interested in fellow scientists?
