[[A rather small person wearing a dusty trench coat with a somewhat ragged hem and a cap with goggles around it is wheeling an old motorbike through the streets of the Metropolis District, looking around. It isn't especially clear what her gender is, or how old she might be, though she looks young. But the way she peers at everything slowly suggests her unfamiliarity with the area.
She notices the person on the roof long before she reaches the point where she is directly below him. Once there, she pauses, looking up at him with interest.]]
[Riku has been sitting up there for a while already, mostly watching out for new arrivals - just like the one, who is walking below him now. He holds her gaze for a moment before deciding to call down to her.]

[Oh you know, just the Somebody of his unwanted house guest and his apprentice, who happens to share voice with a certain Keyblade Master. Really, nobody to worry about.]
Sometimes ago I ran into an old man, who called himself Xehanort. He is a Keyblade Master and he... he smells very similar to Ansem. As strange as it sounds... I think that man is his Somebody.
Then there's a boy with a mask, a very recent arrival. Said his name was Vanitas. He wears a suit that looks very alike to what I wore when I used Dark Mode. ... He has Sora's voice.
[Voice - Private]rewritetheskyJanuary 13 2011, 20:02:58 UTC
[Oh, okay :|]
...Xehanort? [Oh no, she recognizes that name somehow and from somewhere, but from where?] ...His Somebody. W-what did he say?
[And that last bit? Blood runs cold. It's another name that's vaguely familiar, but she can't get over the last part.] He... sounds like Sora? ...But, there shouldn't be any way. Roxas... doesn't even sound like Sora...
[Voice - Private]justabignobodyJanuary 13 2011, 20:33:07 UTC
He asked me about the Ruler of Radiant Garden, when I introduced myself as 'Ansem'. And... he wondered why I was carrying a piece of his heart inside me.
[Yeah, Riku is feeling the same way about that. And there is another thing he might as well drop at her while he is about it.] I know. However... when he arrived, he asked after a boy named Ventus. ... Naminé, I've met that boy a few weeks ago. If I didn't know better, I'd say he and Roxas are twins.
[It was a force of habit on her part. Shiki felt like she hasn't explored the Metropolis District fully yet. Whenever she could leave the apartment, she would try to at least visit a different part of the area and then wander around for the rest of the day. That was how she gotten to know the nooks and crannies of Shibuya, after all. Splendor wasn't any different for her.
Today, she went into the Art Museum, curious to see if there were any Locals with "artistic talent". She was surprised to see that there were in fact paintings and sculptures inside the building. After a few hours later, she came out of the museum with a satisfied grin on her face. Slung around her shoulder was a canvas bag that contained a sketchpad and a few pencils she got from the art store inside. She wanted to go to the park next, thinking that it would the perfect place for her to sit down and do design sketches. She almost passes City Hall when she stops dead in her tracks, tilting her head up.
... Was that a boy sitting on one of the rooftops?]
[Action] Ahaha ;; Forgot this. >w>aspazalotJanuary 13 2011, 21:42:42 UTC
[She fought the urge to roll her eyes. Her question was... rather lame in the first place. |D Putting a hand on her hip and shaking her head. She is smiling good naturedly, though. ]
Yeaaaah, what'cha doing up there, anyway? Enjoying the view?

[Another moment of silence as he decides on a place.]
Tenna Villa; in the courtyard. [Nice, open and yet isolated. There he would be able to tell his story without having to worry too much about anyone listening in, without either of them sensing them first.]
[ Xehanort saw his prey Riku from far, and immediately got as close as possible of the building as he could, all while remaining unseen by Riku. There, he teleported himself on the roof, behind Riku, silently and without the use of darkness. He'll simply pretend he came by the stairs.
When he speaks to alert Riku of his presence, it is in a calm, yet mysterious voice. ]
It is strange, isn't it my boy? Countless souls meet here, fates merge, interact, modify each other. Some peoples are offered a chance to change their destinies. Others find answer to their questions. Some are confronted to mysteries they are unable to resolve.
[ He pauses. Obviously he refereed to himself when he spoke of peoples who could change their fates, while he refereed to Riku when speaking of peoples confronted to mysteries they cannot resolve.
He stares at Riku before uttering the last line. ]
And men who were meant to never meet are forced to face each other.
[Riku freezes when Xehanort suddenly speaks up behind him. Just how had the old man gotten behind him so quickly, without him sensing him approach or using a Corridor?
He feels that stare in the back of his neck; it sends shivers down his spine and makes his stomach twist in dread, but he doesn't move - not until Xehanort had finished speaking. That man sure was just as chatty as 'Ansem' had been.
Then Riku carefully rises to his feet and turns to the old Keyblade Master, jumping down from the ledge onto to roof, tense but calm, his expression a wary frown. Whether this was a 'mystery he wouldn't be able to solve' would remain to be seen.]
That appears to be the nature of this place, doesn't it? It puts all sorts of people together, regardless of what time or place they are from. I imagine that might have thrown quite a wrench in the one or other oh so carefully laid plan.
I believe some peoples have plans that got ruined indeed. Is it your case?
[ Xehanort walks, passing next to Riku and stopping when he reaches the ledge, not looking at the boy. He knew Riku distrusted him and wasn't convinced, so he'd need to get his attention, his pity, another way. ]
Allow me to tell you a little story. [ His voice remains quiet, his hand still held in his back as he stare at the horizon ] There was once a boy who lived on an Island. He had friends, a family, a peaceful life, everything to be happy. But this world was too small, too small to satisfy his curiosity, his thirst for adventure, his needs.
[ Unknowingly to Riku, Xehanort actually speaks of himself. Xehanort himself doesn't know yet the true backstory of Riku. ]
[After all, capturing Roxas might have been his - their - plan, in order to awaken Sora. However, here with Sora being awake and so young there wasn't much sense in going through with it. Besides... Naminé had told him that he had succeeded with it... or would succeed anyway.
As Xehanort walks up to his side, Riku turns to face his profile and when Xehanort starts telling his little story, he feels himself freeze again and hopes that the shock doesn't show too much on his face. He knows this story, how couldn't he; his mind an endless spin of 'how did he know?`. He knows this story of a boy, who wanted to leave, who dragged his friends into his scheme, who in the end sacrificed everything to the darkness, not caring what would happen as long as he and his friends could get off and away. Could finally be free. It didn't matter that the Islands had been restored since then... nothing could change the fact that their very destruction was Riku's fault in first place

Sorry to tell you, but you are in a different world, called Splendor. I doubt it could be found on any map.

Who? What happened, Riku?

[A story? This could be interesting, considering he had realized Eraqus is a wielder as well.]
Would you like to keep this over the seals or meet in person?

If it's no trouble, I'd like to meet in person. This isn't really something that should be discussed over the seals.
