[It was a force of habit on her part. Shiki felt like she hasn't explored the Metropolis District fully yet. Whenever she could leave the apartment, she would try to at least visit a different part of the area and then wander around for the rest of the day. That was how she gotten to know the nooks and crannies of Shibuya, after all. Splendor wasn't any different for her.
Today, she went into the Art Museum, curious to see if there were any Locals with "artistic talent". She was surprised to see that there were in fact paintings and sculptures inside the building. After a few hours later, she came out of the museum with a satisfied grin on her face. Slung around her shoulder was a canvas bag that contained a sketchpad and a few pencils she got from the art store inside. She wanted to go to the park next, thinking that it would the perfect place for her to sit down and do design sketches. She almost passes City Hall when she stops dead in her tracks, tilting her head up.
... Was that a boy sitting on one of the rooftops?]
[Action] Ahaha ;; Forgot this. >w>aspazalotJanuary 13 2011, 21:42:42 UTC
[She fought the urge to roll her eyes. Her question was... rather lame in the first place. |D Putting a hand on her hip and shaking her head. She is smiling good naturedly, though. ]
Yeaaaah, what'cha doing up there, anyway? Enjoying the view?
[Shiki furrows her brows, trying to figure out which building Riku was sitting on. She lets out an "Ah!", nodding her head. She adjusts the bag on her shoulder and starts to make her way over there.]
[A few minutes later, Shiki made it to the roof without any consequence. She's a little grateful she was wearing jeans and sneakers today; definitely easier to move around in. Sure enough, she reaches Riku's side after a few minutes.]
Hey Roof Boy~
[She doesn't sit down right away, choosing to kneel at his level, pointing at an empty spot next to him.]
[Riku makes a sympathizing, wistful noise, starring ahead to the horizon. Homesickness is something he is more than familiar with; it's a steady ache in his chest that he has carrying in his heart, trying his best to acknowledge it as little as possible.]

Is that a challenge Roof Boy?
Reply
Sure, if you want it to be. Otherwise you could just take it as simple invitation.

[She gives him a cheery smile, taking a seat beside him. Shiki removes the bag from her shoulder, making it rest on her lap.]

Wow.
[She sighs, the cheery grin on her face early made way for a rueful smile.]
It definitely looks like home...

Your homeworld is a city like this?
Reply
Yeah, Shibuya. Born and raised there.
[She sighs, looking out into the city again. Couldn't help the chuckle that suddenly escapes her.]
Huh, suddenly I feel a little homesick.
