The fact that I cannot read Order of the Stick on the day it comes out makes me sad. I just get page not found errors, or if I'm lucky a whole pile of unloaded image icons. Seems they have some bandwith or hit limit issues. Either that or my browser/connection/provider setup sucks.

There must be some colorary of Murphy's Law that explains why serious server failures happen more often while I'm in the shower.

OK kiddies, it's time for me to purchase another laptop. I need something with enough computing power to run a slimmed down version of SQL Server and Visual Studio for dog and pony shows, and prefer that's smaller and lighter. And of course, reliable and affordable are key.

Any thoughts?
