I'm glad to see you're doing well in Sidney, I'd love to travel there (and we just had a snowstorm last night) it's still summer in Sidney, right?

Almost Autumn, actually. But the temperature here isn't half as cold as compared to Canada. I'm still in my shorts, flip flop/thongs and tank tops.

I want snow men *whine whine whine whine* The only reason why I wanted to study overseas is to see snow...but then I go to Australia. >___

Yay for shoes! Pale blue and pastelly pink... cotton candy colors. XD Thongs? Then what do they call the underwear? I wonder what Australians first thought the "Thong Song" was about then. =P

Yay for prettily colored shoes!
You know, I especially made place for an extra 3 pairs of nice heels in my suitcase, but I cannot wear them here because I have to walk so much.

I think they call the underwear "thongs" too? I have no idea. I'll make it a point to check the next time. :D

I thought I'd be more awed when seeing the Opera house, you know, after seeing it in all it's shiney glory in great movies (like...uh...Finding Nemo)but the wow! factor just wasn't there.

Hi Ling! Interesting to see what you've been up to in Sydney. I've never been there myself....which is quite strange, I must admit. I'll have to go on a Sydney Harbour tour someday.

Yeah, we call both footwear and underwear "thongs". It still puzzles me to this day. Living away from home is interesting isn't it? Necessity is the mother of invention....and you gals look like you've just invented a new form of 'food'. LOL.
