Ken was starting to piece new bits of information together. It seemed it wasn't just different worlds, but different times that they could be pulled from too.
Because this certainly was a younger version of one of the older chosen children. The Digimon Kaizer smirked. This made things much, MUCH easier than taking on a college student. Not that he would have doubted himself either way, but convience was best. Especially since he was growing so...popular lately.
"Well well, what have we here? Another gnat circling around my head..."

So there were people here after all! Miku had been heading away from where she had met Fuji when she heard someone calling out. So she did what any person would do: she headed in Jou's general direction.
But she never expected to see two people! "Ara?" She paused a safe distance away to watch the goings-on. The first boy seemed normal enough, but the second... something about him just gave her the creeps.
"..." Oh, this did not give her the warm fuzzies. Not one bit.

Daisuke gave his D-Terminal another smack to shake it out of it's weird antics. He couldn't send word to the others much less recieve any from his end. His patience was running low and fustrations growing higher and higher by the minute. To make matters worse, he was still tired! Why couldn't the bad guys give him a break? Did they want to make him out to be Superman and run on no sleep ( ... )

Daisuke's hand on Miku's shoulder was very unexpected. She started and immediately turned her head to see who was behind her. And, well, it was a boy she didn't know. With goggles on his head. "Hikari-chan? N-no. My name's not Hikari."
Just to make sure she didn't hurt his feelings, Miku kept talking. "M-my name's Hinasaki Miku. Nice to meet you!" She bobbed her head once. "H-hello!" Though why had he thought she was someone else? Who was this 'Hikari' girl? She had to be important.
"Who are you?" She tilted her head slightly to one side and looked at Daisuke.

Jyou opened one eye from his place on the cold ground to look at the girl approaching. "Hello, I'd stand and formally say hello but you're not real." Jyou shut his eyes tightly waiting for the ground to turn back into his warm, comfy bed. He curled his legs to his chest when he realized that this was not going to happen very fast. Of course, he couldn't admit he dream hypothesis was wrong so he settled on the theory that it was mind over matter. Bakumon lose you power. No wait... This isn't real, this isn't real, this isnt' real...

"Do you know them?"
The goggle head's fists tightened by his sides, muscles tensing at the question. He certainly hoped not. He prayed he didn't because if he did, that would mean trouble and one painful brain break for himself and--
"EH!" Daisuke double-taked as Miku began to walk forward. "Ma--Matte Hinasaki-san!" What happened to her wanting to stay quiet!? Curiousity must have gotten the better of her. That or the same anxious feeling eating him alive right now was the cause of her bold action. He threw caution to the wind and hurried to the girl's side. Just as he was about to grasp her arm and pull her back, the other young man's voice spoke up... and managed to break the boy where he stood with one simple name.
"Ken? Is that really you?"Ken? Ichijouji?! Daisuke whipped his attention to the two boys. Now ( ... )

"Evil... rings?" She squinted at Ken before inhaling sharply. "You're that boy I talked to on the network." This was not what she was expected. "Y-your name is Ichijouji Ken-san?" He had two names? Or was the Kaizer just a nickname? Ugh. This was confusing.
"Uhm..." She'd just stay right where she was for now. Hiding behind Daisuke for protection. She doubted that even her camera could help out now.

"My name, is the Digimon Kaizer, and you will refer to me as such." The blunette scowled, then looked to the older boy, who was starting to irritate him. "And you're not dreaming, insect. Unless you want to consider this a living nightmare. By all means, continue to call it a dream...if it helps you stop your sniveling."
Ken then rounded on Daisuke, taking a step closer.
"So tell me, my worthy adversary...would you like to kneel before me of your own volition, or do I have to collar you? I'd much rather you listened, but if you want to struggle, I can arrange that as well..."
The Divermon stood ready by his feet.

She had spotted the Divermon. "...wh-what are those?" And why were they holding rings? Oh boy. This was getting way creepy. "St-stop it! What did Daisuke-san ever do to you?!" She peered out at Ken and glared at him. "Leave him alone. P-please?"
