POTATO 07.2011 - NEWS WAKING UP




KOYAMA

The first thing I do the morning is opening the window to change the air of the room. Once I do that, even if I fall back asleep for around 20 minutes, I can wake up refreshed. I think that it's really important to feel the sun in the morning. Opening the curtain and bathe in the sunlight let your body's clock to get started.
It's nice to wake up in your day-off. I want to use my time profitably but most of times I wake up in the late morning (lol). If I wake up early and put on the TV probably I'll waste my time watching it, so maybe it's better to not put it on at all. Then I brush my teeth...and maybe go to a outlet mall with my car. Before going out I just need to do the washings (lol). While the washing machine is working I clean the room, when is done and I hung the clothes I can go out. Saying this it seems that also my days-off are busy since the morning. On the opposite when I work I don't enter the right mood until I enter the studios so at home I just slack around (lol).
If I go to the mall I'd mostly walk around aimlessly, rather than doing shopping. I'd spent around 2 hours looking to furniture and objects, then I'd drive towards a cafè. There I can read and spend time doing nothing. I also answer to the mails in queue. If I still have energies then I may go to the gym. Of course if you wake up early you can do many things. Even if I do the thing I want to do the most firstly I still have time to do many other things.
Right, on 1st May I turned 27! Now I have the age of "a complete adult" so I want it to be true...But I think it's not funny to be too calm. That's why I want to still be stupid with the members, keep my childish side and become anyway a true adult. My objective? It's reading many books. Reading I can increase my vocabolary and become used to stay focused. Recently I'm in charce of a new economy corner in 'News every', right now I'm studying economy!

YAMAPI

On days-off I wake up early and if the weather is nice I like to take a walk. I walk for around 30 minutes in my neighborhood, or I ride my bicycle. Anyway this is my ideal but in reality I can't wake up if it's not already past noon (lol).
The first thing of the morning is brushing teeth. After that the meal. Like soup or...udon, soba. Ramen is ok too. You know, I wake up late so it's already lunch time (lol). On my days-off I don't take a shower. I also go out of home without setting my hair. I'm no good in the mornings, I can also fall asleep a second time. That's why usually I set my alarm clock 30 minutes earlier. If I have time to sleep a little more I'm happy.
In the morning I can lose to myself. When I have to work I have no choises but getting up but...I'm really no good at it. I really hate mornings (lol). When I go to Onsen since the breakfast is delicious I wake up early though. In other words, if I haven't a reason I can't wake up. But but! If I go to sleep until the midnight I can wake up full of energies. If it's like that I can wake up at 8am too. I feel really refreshed only if I can sleep around 8 hours. The matters are different if I go to sleep at 3am and have to sleep at 8. I think that the human body is matched with the cycle of the sun. I'll try my best from now on (lol). So that I'll be able to enjoy mornings at my best.
They say that the early bird catches the worm, I think it's true. Because if you wake up early the day is longer. When you wake up at noon it's like the day is already over. Lately I feel the days are too quick, when I was a kid it was like the evening never comes. Expecially the time from 5 to 6pm was endless. I remember I had classes and when I came back home I put on the tv and "What Dragonball hasn't started yet?!" (lol).
Of course if you wake up early you can fulfill your day. If I were able to do that I would like to use that time to read. Going to the gym would be nice too. But...I don't want to lose the possibility of falling back asleep. It wouldn't be me! I don't even want to think about losing that happiness of mine (lol).

RYO

I'm so no good at waking up in the morning. I can do that properly only when I go to surf. I hit the snooze button of my phone's alarm at least 5 times before I'm able to move (lol). The mornings in which I wake up early for some reason I do the washings! I use to put the socks, panties, towels in the dryer but I want to hung my other clothes under the sun! Anyway it's an annoying work so I always end up to postpone that (bitter smile).
For a period I had to wake up every morning at 6-7am. I had some days in which I could get up at noon from time to time but, even if I went to sleep at 3am, I ended up to wake up at 8am out of habit, it was a shock for me too! When I was able to fall asleep once again I was so happy!
I'm still young so no matter how sleepy I am, I want to sleep the more I can. That's why for now waking up early is impossible. They say that when you're older you wake up early even if you're still sleepy, right? When it will be like that I will accept it and I will play around in my garden since the dawn.
Since I live alone I usually sleep until the very last moment before going out, so I never take a quiet breakfast. The first thing I do every morning is brushing teeth. That's why the first time I had a breakfast buffet in a hotel I felt moved. I could eat 4 servings of salade that I usually don't like too much. It was delicious and I had a lot of free time. Firstly I ate 3 servings of salade, then gruel, bread, cornflakes, another salade and then fruits. It was so good and I felt so full!
Lately I'm catching up with my friends, I also met P for his birthday. I took a video of P blowing on the candles of his cake. Maybe he was really happy back then? I mean, I would be happy to be celebrated. Expecially because there aren't many opportunities to be all together like that. Personally I gave him a T-shirt. I didn't tell him that but it's matching with mine ♥

[My mind exploded for love...like really! RYOPI lately are so cute!! >///< They also have a matching t-shirt now, and in the last interview Ryo said that the T-shirt he bought to Pi had a duck on it XD So cute!!]

SHIGE

If I have to explain my usual morning flow, the first thing is washing teeth. Then I put on the TV, open the window and wipe the glass table. Lately I really am doing my best! People use to think that I love cleanliness but in reality it's not like that at all (lol). Anyway since people think like that I thought that it really should be. Having gaps is nice but the kind of gap of 'looking clean but having a messed up house' is really unnecessary (lol). That's why lately I try to keep my home very clean.
When I wake up early I like to have lunch outside. I don't go to cafès. I like 'manly meals' (lol). Like ramen or udon. By the way recently I found a good udon shop! They cover udon with nori as much that you can see the udon anymore, then they put steamed eggs on it. It's absolutely delicious! You can go to eat there only for lunch so if you don't wake up early you can't do it.
If when I wake up early I start watching western music videos on internet, searching stuff about movies, the day is over before I can even notice. Lately I've been listening to popular songs of Showa age. Like Misora Hibari-san's 'Aisansan' or Ken Naoko's 'Natsu wo akiramete'. That's a real good song. I listened to the lyrics well and I thought: "What?! This song is amazing!". The song was written and composed by Kuwada Keisuke-san.
On private I went to Ishikawa. I went to meet a friend who last year came back there where his family has a sake brewery. He took me to visit the factory too! It was really interesting. I could see how the rice is turned into sake. I could also taste the various levels of the process, but only the final sake was truly delicious! (lol). Anyway my aim was watching the museum of Kanazawa on his 21th anniversary. But the exposition was limited so I couldn't see it all. That's why I want to take my revenge. If I can I'll go back in winter. They also told me that the meal there is better in winter.

MASSU

On my days-off I wake up early and have breakfast veeeeeery calmly. I love American breakfast (lol). Like eggs cooked in any way, crispy bacon and bread. With that an apple or orange juice. The ideal would be having an hotel-like breakfast at home. Anyway the first thing I put in my mouth at morning is water. Drinking water as the first thing of the day is healthy, isn't it? That's why I absolutely drink a glass of water. Doing that you feel purified.
Anyway on days-off I often wake up slowly. I get up around noon and basically I don't do anything else but wasting time (lol). But my real routine is having a good breakfast and then going out. I buy a black tea in a cafè and I take a walk drinking.
When I have to work I always try to wake up at least one hour before going out. I need around 30 minutes to get ready and I don't like to be in a rush. I can also do everything in 15 minutes but I don't want to. I can't enter the right mood just after waking up probably. If possible I like 3 hours to pass from when I wake up to when I start to work. If only one hour passed my mind and body feel too blunt.
Of course the ideal is waking up with the light of the sun. That's why I go to sleep leaving the curtains open. Doing that I can wake up around 6-7am feeling good. After that I fall asleep again until 8am though. Doing this in the days-off feels so good! I mean, waking up in the early morning, getting full eating breakfast and then fall asleep once again for around 1 hour (lol).
Recently I went to eat Shouronbou with friends. It was in a shop where my friend wanted to go, it was very good! I ate them thinking back to when I tasted them in Taiwan. I ate around 10 of them. Then, the Tegomass DVD came out! (*the interview was taken on the first of May) Tomorrow I have work with Tegomass, I look forward to it.

TEGOSHI

Waking up early is obviously profitable. On the opposite when you wake up at noon you feel like you wasted your day. Waking up earlier you can go out for lunch and think to many other plans. Even if I say that I naturally wake up before noon too.
The mornings in which I wake up early I usually don't do anything of particular. I like to watch the morning shows drinking coffee. After I slacked off a little I like to go out in this season. Also when I work I like to go to work after I took a walk or did some jogging. I like to run. Going to run after waking up is refreshing. Also riding the bicycle. Doing that in the early morning feels really good. Anyway if you don't do the maintenance of it you can't ride (lol).
I stopped eating breakfast since when I went to live alone. Usually I just eat a yoghurt and a banana. When I was in family my mom cooked for me so I properly ate. Since I'm still sleepy I never feel like cooking. When I lived with family I was also no good at waking up. I think it was because I was used to get waked up by my mom. Now I absolutely wake up with the sound of the alarm clock.
Since 'Dekawanko' ended I'm slacking off. On May the Tegomass DVD was released so I was somehow in a singing mood. I can go back from a drama quickly, I don't need to come out the character as well.
About private life, recently I've eaten suppon (soft-shelled turtle) and it was good! It obviously felt like high-class food. I've also drunk its blood. I mixed it with apple juice though, unexpectedly it was easy to drink it. They say that drinking that you gain energies, in reality I can't say if it worked or not (lol). Anyway I felt good after that. Talking about this, recently I'm more interested in good food. Also when I go to eat sushi I started to have favourite restaurants.
