SAITA 07.2011 - A HOME DATE WITH SHIGE
-With which word would you welcome her in your home?
"Uissu~!". No matter how much I'm intimate with people, the first time would always be embarrassing so if it's for a date I'd go for a light greeting. I'm totally a home-date type! The most important thing when you're dating someone is being able to be with that person, I think that the place is not important. I also think that a confortable date at home, more than an exciting date outside, is the better way to build a good relationship between two lovers. If you can fully enjoy the time spent at home you also can have wonderful good time outside.
I have my favourite objects and my obsessions about interior design. In the living room I have a glass dining table, 2 red leather sofas and a trunk table. I also do the houseworks diligently, I do my best to keep everything clean. So that one day if I want to invite the girl I like there everything will be ok (blushes) ...but in my bedroom there's a mountain of clothes! (lol)
-What if your girl asks you to teach her how to fish?
This year I went with Ohno-kun to Miyakejima for 4 days and 3 nights. On a sea with anybody else, tanning under the sun, drinking beer and catching fishes, we could taste a sense of freedom. It was funny just like this.
Of course if my girl asks me that I would bring her with me and teach her. I did this with Massu too, anyway if the partner doesn't want to learn it turns into a bother (lol). If she's truly interested I'd tell her: "Ok, let's study together!".
In fishing you must not be impatient, even if you don't catch anything. Love probably has some points in common with it (lol). For example, even if you fall in love at first sight it's better to be careful and wait for the right time to do your move.
-What if you want to cook for her at your place?
Firstly, I love to cook! For example, if I catch mackerels I wouldn't do a simple sashimi, I'd do a soused type or roast it, I can do many different kind of dish. I can also cook 'all'acqua pazza' or prepare taimeshi.
Of course I would cook for my girl! It seems that many girls like Italian food so maybe pasta or risotto would be fine. Then maybe a scallop's oil pickles...I'd train for it since the previous day and then ask: "I tried to do this with all my efforts, how is it?", like to say: "You can also lie but please say it's good!" (lol).
I love to read recipes books. Some time ago I also read the cooking pages in 'Saita'. In my library there are many recipes books full of post-it. For the girl I like I'd pull out those books and plan the menu. It would be a serious treatment!
-Do you have an ideal family's image?
The ideal would be a marriage relationship in which we call each other with names. Some people don't do that thinking of when they'll have kids, it would be so cute if my children call me "Shige" though (lol). I'd like to build a not stereotypical, amusing family. Since I love to cook by myself there's no need for my girlfriend to be able to do it, I don't think that a person who can't cook isn't family-oriented. A girl who's no good at cooking boasting from time to time: "Today I cooked for you!", it's so cute even only to picture it (lol). I want a relationship in which we can live having fun, doing what we can do when we can do it.
-What if you want to play guitar for her at your place?
If it's the request of the girl you like you can do anything but saying: "I'm not good but I'll do it!" (lol). If I do my best I guess I can play something from Mr.Childer, Southern All Stars or Yuzu.
I play guitar, I go fishing, I'm into reading and photography, I watch 10 movies each month, I do pressure training, jogging, I ride bicycle, collect vynil records, enjoy Ukiyo-e stamps, computers and travels...there's no need for the girl I like to share my interests but since I have so many I think that maybe there will be one we can share (lol).
-What would you do to celebrate a birthday with your girl?
I'm too shy for big celebrations but I have many good friends (lol) so even if I tell them: "It's ok" in the end they prepare a surprise for me.
A celebration with my girlfriend would be a different thing (lol). Being a birthday we could get the chance to go to eat in a luxury restaurant. Because on Xmas or Valentine day every restaurant is crowded but not on birthdays, we could be free to book whatever place we like. I leave the choice to her. I'd be happy with everything. Anyway I think that since it's once in a year it can also be an expensive restaurant (lol). A place where we can eat French food, Japanese one or course meal, would be good...Well, I said that anything's fine but I'm being so annoying...sorry. Maybe that's why I'm not that popular (lol).
-What would you do when spending the night and morning with your girlfriend at home?
The good point in having a date at home is that you can stay all the time together, but in my case I would be talking all the time so it would be spending time without making her bored. I'm not good to create romantic situations but I think I can be funny. Then, because of the smooth skin (lol), it may feel good to touch.
I usually sleep until the very end but in this case I would wake up early, quickly put the apartment in order and wait preparing the lunch. I'd let her sleep as much as she wants. The menu would be natto on brown rice, miso soup and tamagoyaki and cold tofu. It would be the best if she eats that showing she likes it. Ah but I'd totally ask to wash the dishes and prepare the coffee after lunch!
-Tell us your dreams for the future!
No matter in what shape, I want to do things that can be called my masterpieces. Since when I entered the JE I watched the senpais' works longing to be like them. Now that I accumulated age and experiences I think that I must become a person that kouhais can admire as well. To accomplish this, next year when I'll turn 25 years old, my objective will be to give my job a single shape. Then it would be good if I can step up. Of course the most important basis is to do my best at work. Then I also think that it's important what you do, think and study in your everyday life. I want to store many things into myself without wasting my time and then keep tight the fruits of this.
