When I did this, I used canned beans, which eliminated Steps 1 & 2. Everything else I kept the same. This was really tasty, even better the second day.

We were watching Lidia this past Saturday and she made these. Okay, I thought they sounded good, but I had no idea just how yummy they would be. I'm glad we only made two potatoes because I would have eaten them all. We used Adele Sweet Italian sausage, but I plan to do this again with Molinari sweet Italian sausage.
