A bit of a rant

Ours was nice, but I’m a little pissed at Barb’s family. The dining room table seats 10 comfortably and 11 not badly. Barb had set up the kitchen table for her niece, Suzanne, her husband, Craig, Jeff, and Leah, another niece. Because of the weather down south, Suzanne and Craig had to bail, so we volunteered to sit in the kitchen with Jeff

That just was not right! Barb's family does not seem very considerate at all.

Barb's family sound so effing ungrateful. It really breaks my heart to hear that her family are like that. Thank goodness that she has such wonderful friends <3

Holidays can really bring out the worst in some families.

Don't know what Snickers is but if he's a pet, it IS his house too. Sad that people hate him :( he's probably lovely.

Maybe next Thanksgiving should be just you, TBG, Barb, Jeff, Snickers and Suzanne & Craig if they can make it. Don't invite anyone rude!

He's a chocolate lab and sweeter than sweeter. All he is is big and her relatives hate him for it. Poor guy.

Sadly, the whole family will be there next year. I'm sure of it. it's really a shame, too.

He's getting on in years and this might well be his last Thanksgiving. I'm glad he was inside for most of it.

I really feel for your friend - it reminds me of many a family dinner until we stopped socializing with most our relatives. With family like that, one really doesn't need enemies.
