Not to get into details, but last night I had a good life lesson. I realized that I need to start trying to have some more patience. Just with life in general. So, it's nearly 4:30 in the morning and I am wide awake. Yesterday was a very emotional day for me, given my uncle's funeral and Bekki being put back on full bedrest. Yet, here I am, unable to get back to sleep. Ugh.

Without my Uncle Johnny, I have no doubt my life would be much different. My dad earned everything we had when I was a kid, but without my uncle, we wouldn't have been able to get the piece of land we built a house on and lived in. I've been to two so far this year, I have one to go to tomorrow, and another one that is unfortunately inevitable at this point. I'm tired of them.

It's so weird. I used to actually enjoy being cold. I mean, not that I liked it when it was zero degrees out or anything. But I never minded November weather at all.
