I can count on my fingers the number of days I didn't talk to him on the phone in the two months before Christmas.
I can count on my fingers the number of times we've talked in the month since Christmas.

What happened?

I almost got evicted today.

See, all that hullabaloo could have been avoided if I could just tell the future!
And, for that matter, sometimes I just need to tell the present...

But all's good now.
For today.

I may get my cell phone turned off in the next couple days, though.
Then how will I get work to pay off the bill???

Ah, life...

I haven't taken my Christmas decorations down yet. :)

Being painfully honest sooner rather than later is never as difficult in the end as I initially imagine. It's much worse in the long run, for everyone, to be passive aggressive.
