Here are the first fruits of my labour over this five-day period away from work. It’s another chapter of “Savage Beauty”. Down on the funny a little, I think; there is a surprising amount of plot forcing its way in. Rating still probably just about scraping PG-13. 2,625 words ( Read more... )

But of course! I'm trying to keep everybody at least vaguely in character despite the setting, so he has to be.

Ha! You have induced cackling. That there Robin Wood, what a bastard! Feared by the bad, loved by the good-for-nothing.

I loved the domestic bliss scene with Joyce and Dawn - and the transliterated names - and the exchange between Dru and Giles was priceless. Keep it coming :)

So, you didn't know Lorne Greene, but you have at least some knowledge of Richard Greene? http://www.whirligig-tv.co.uk/tv/children/robinhood/robinhood.htm

Thank you! Glad you liked it.

Oh, I've missed this fic! Loved the breakfast menu of Spam cod choices. Can't wait to see what Robin Wood and his merrie men are up to, and the Giles/Drusilla scene was priceless! Looking forward to more AotM soon.

“He’s gone small,” Drusilla said, sounding disappointed.
“He has had to work rather hard,” Giles said defensively. Hee! Poor Giles.
I see Robin has made his way into the saga. The team of Riley & Robin is something horrible to contemptlate "shudder". There goes the rainforest.

Really, Speaker, what's the deal with all the plot? *g*

This continues to be one of my favorite stories.

I find that I am totally unable to write without plot. Even "Sunnydale Passions" has acquired plot somehow.

Thank you! Glad you like it.
