I am sort of half-committed to doing NaBloPoMo this month, so I decided to cruise by their site and I discovered this:

Economy vs. the hospitals
The economy has truly begun to strike the hospital. Workload is way down since no one is voluntarily going to the doctor (or no one has insurance anymore). Overtime was eliminated weeks back, but now they've instituted 'hospital convenience time', where if it's slow they start sending people home, and your only choice is whether to use your ( Read more... ) -
A day well spent...I suppose
Day off today. Managed to spend most of it glued to the computer screen despite best intentions of being productive (as per the usual for my days off). I did finally pry myself out of the apartment briefly to run to the grocery store, and discovered, OMG it's a beatiful day out.
