The ferns are turning yellow and the color is fading from the Poplar leaves.  Kids are in schoo again and it's raining nuts in the woods.  The Holly trees have berries this year and night is coming earlier.  The signs are beginning to show that fall is well on its way ( Read more... )

When things seem bleak, The Lord comes through.  We got a call today from the claims adjuster about Jan's car.  They have decided to call it a total loss.  That was the bad news.  The good news is that the initial evaluation for the car's worth is more than Jan paid for it to begin with.

Go figure!
