I made a mistake. When asked the purpose of my visit I said: Toronto Trek! Star Trek, you know? Mercifully I think he had some Klingons coming through before. My Buffy t-shirt was nothing in comparison.

Well, he did ask if my visit was for personal or business and I told him personal. And then he as me what I was going to do and I told him I was going to a sci fi convention. He was very polite and I was very earnest, so it was all good. :)
