Today, a whole load of students marched right out of their schools and colleges and into the centre of town, as a protest against the now-inevitable. Well, babysitting went better than I feared it would. The kids really are adorable, even if they're also as frustrating as anything. Yup, it may be July now but it is also raining as if it's trying to be a monsoon. (And of course, this is the day I don't bring either my coat or umbrella to college with me...) There was a holdup in the QuickSave over the road from where I work today. The bakery delivery guy was taken hostage and the shops on that side of the road were closed all morning, and the whole street was full of police vans.
