Takuto and Aion arrived shortly after the struggle started to become nasty. The resident forces were fighting a brave battle but more and more kishin eggs managed to break through their defensive line and wherever they did blood started to dye the streets a slippery red

I hope hinting at his meister ability is okay for you? :3commandorkingJanuary 5 2012, 05:48:20 UTC
More and more kishin eggs fell prey to Takuto's raging, but even as they did others seemed to turn around or veer from their intended courses to head towards him. They quickly became a dark mob full of snapping fangs, claws, distorted limbs and worse and they had only one goal: the meister and the weapon that had gotten separated from the rest and were now surrounded. Maybe they believed that their souls were special treats or that killing them would earn them a free day, but whatever it was, it got them to come at them at an impossible rage and the street around them was soon filled with the glowing souls of already slain kishin eggs as they kept tossing themselves at Takuto without regards for their own lives

it's a beautiful thing~ <3 Also, this is something I like to call Ginga PAAAAAANCH!gingaprettyboyJanuary 5 2012, 09:05:59 UTC
Takuto dashed back and forth, trying to clear a space before more Kishin eggs came closer. But it seemed like no matter how hard he tried, more were filling their place. Aion's lingering sense of panic was starting to get to him--he needed his weapon, of all people, to believe in him.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. He swung Aion wide, clearing the left side and a decent swath behind him. In the next instant, he slid his right foot back, sinking into his heel as he stabbed the plain sword straight into the pavement. Before the nearest Kishin egg could blink, Takuto's fist slammed directly into its face, sending it flying backwards and knocking down a few more beside it.
Suddenly, Takuto was gasping for air, his body swaying as his knees wobbled, and then refused to hold him up. His voice was weak as he began to fall.
Gaaaaahhh... now me/Takuto feels all guilty.....gingaprettyboyJanuary 7 2012, 04:27:22 UTC
Everything seemed to be rushing by too quickly for Takuto to really follow. He was more tired than he'd ever been in his life and no matter how much he tried to open his eyes or move his arms, nothing happened. His whole body felt limp. He could feel a warm spray that might have been blood, but he wasn't sure if it came before or after the yell from his weapon.
But he did know that at some point, the demon was holding him tightly, the air was rushing past them very quickly, and that when he woke up later, they would both be alive.

Aion was barely aware that Takuto had passed out on him, only noticing it when one of the medics asked him about it. He assured the man that it had been exhaustion and not some kishin attack that had taken the redhead down and then proceeded to leave his Meister in their worried care. Ignoring his own injuries that were starting to include feeling dizzy and lightheaded from the loss of blood as well, he dragged himself to the mirror knowing that he would get first aid behind it and be out of the battle's way.
The only good thing about this turn of events was that he knew just the right surgeon to turn to as soon as he could.
