Characters: OPEN Location: All around Death City Rating: G Time: 11:59pm, 31st December Description: The countdown is drawing near! In with the new and out with the old they say! Where will you be when the new year rolls in?
I'm not sure. [There's certainly a lot of people here already.
She looked around a bit before her gaze settled back on him.]
Maybe...somewhere with less people? [She was used to spending New Years with only a few friends, after all, though she admitted that it wasn't the only reason for her suggestion/]
[After a moment of searching she points in a direction where there seemed to be less people...with the hand that wasn't holding his, of course. She didn't much want to let go right now.]
[Open | 31st | Hours before and after the fireworks!]guillotineofgodNovember 17 2011, 19:07:03 UTC
[Justin Law's buggy laden with massive speakers takes up a portion of the terrace out front of Shibusen's main doors, playing its customary Electro for hours on end. Occasionally the music does change for a time to something slightly less frustrating, which is a small mercy. There is no mercy in the volume, though. It'd be a miracle if anyone could hear themselves think, much less the fireworks go off when they finally do.
The Death Scythe quite persistently takes up a vigil in wait for the change of year, staring into the sky... literally hours before midnight. Even while the sun is in the sky he perches atop his vehicle, unmoving and seemingly unblinking. No doubt serving as a minor inconvenience to some, but who was about to tell a Death Scythe to move?
...And how did he even get that buggy up the stairs, anyway?]

[Tommy decided not to spend this holiday locked up in his room. Huddled inside a nice, warm jacket, he walked along the length of the stands, watching people and soaking in the air of the festivities. It was a nice day to be out, for sure.]
[Shuurei is bundled up in a pink cloak with fuzzy white trim and is carrying her erhu as she looks through the stalls. She spots some white hair that looks somewhat familiar-the boy that she had met in front of the mission board-and goes over to say hello.]

[if anyone's looking for him, they'll be able to find the good patchwork doctor sitting on a balcony railing (yes, sitting on it; his balance is awesome) just about halfway up the school, watching the fireworks and smoking a cigarette.]

[She steps up beside him before the fireworks begin, leaning with her palms on the railing just to the right of where he's sitting. Her head tilts upward toward the night sky, her ponytail trailing all the way down her back.]

[Hmm, hmm. Looking around. Oh, and he's holding your hand while he's at it.]

Here alone? That's unusual.

I'm sure that I won't be for too terribly long.
[Her partner did like to pop up all the time. Not that she minded.]
