Maybe...somewhere with less people? [She was used to spending New Years with only a few friends, after all, though she admitted that it wasn't the only reason for her suggestion/]

[He couldn't really blame them: a lot of the folks seemed to need happier things to look forward to.

Now he was picking up the pace a bit, climbing the stairs they found themselves in front of. They didn't have to climb all the way up to the entrance of Shibusen, but a decent height should work...]
