Entertainment / Red Light District

Shibusen's Entertainment and Red Light district was, as Tsukuyo expected, more wholesome than the Yoshiwara. It was a given, being that there was a school located in the middle of the city and there were children stuck in there with them. Still, the occasional neon sign beckoning the customer to shadier and seedier environs within gave her a small feeling of comfort as she walked around in a leisurely pace.

She was a little early for her shift, she knew. But she figured it wouldn't hurt to be a little early today.

Aqua didn't want to think, not about her own inability to help or the fact that there were people she knew fighting in Europe. And she thought, maybe if she were too busy trying to ignore the things that were embarrassing in the Red Light District (read: everything) while simultaneously keeping an eye out for trouble she wouldn't have to.

She's already been inside a bar or two and already talked to some of the "residents" in the district. It was interesting to note that none of them had the lifeless, dead eyes that she used to see in almost everyone of the girls in Yoshiwara. Most of them invited her to come and see them more often when they heard of where she was from and she promised to do so.

Stepping out of the strip club for some air, she catches a glimpse of a faintly familiar blue-haired girl. Ah, Takasugi's girl she remembers, thinking back when she saw them together during the festival looking, for all the world to seem it, cozy and comfortable.

So her shift was located here? Interesting, Tsukuyo noted as she stepped away from the club and aimed her walk to intersect with Aqua's path.

In some ways, Aqua had gotten used to patrolling this area even if she never quite managed to stop sticking out.

Part of it was her strange hair colour, but mostly it was the almost single-minded way she studiously avoided noticing anything that would make her blush. It made her stand straighter and more tensely than usual, making it obvious that if given the choice she would rather not be here.

At least she had been right: it was easy not to think when she was here.

She hadn't noticed the woman heading for her yet.

Outer Quarter District

Done with her tour, Tsukuyo proceeded to her assigned zone. She wondered if there were more cougars to be taken care of and, though she had seen glimpses of them around, whether she'd get to bump into either of her fellow Watch patrollers.

Tsukuyo remembers seeing Auron from the morning trainings in the park, though nothing more than a nod or occasional eye contact has ever passed between them. This night she comes across him looking perhaps a bit more exhausted than he'd let on. With almost half of the Watch gone and almost all partners in Europe, she wasn't surprised at all.

She nods her head in acknowledgegment as he got nearer. "Good evening."
