There wasn't a lot in particular that still needed to be done for the festival, so D had taken the chance to sleep through morning training and get a later start at work. He was just on his way there now. Though setting everything up was rather stressful, he found himself in a rather good mood as he walked.

Despite paying more attention to the world around her Elena turned a corner and tripped herself as she tried to avoid running into the elegant man, instead he fell forward towards him. "Ah~!" She let out a short cry as she tripped.

Oh dear. Making use of his quick reflexes, D reached out to catch the woman as she was falling and help her steady herself. "Are you alright, Miss?" he asked. His face was a mask of polite concern.

"Y-yes, I'm sorry, I just tripped a little." She said with a blush, hiding her face in her hair slightly. The blush was caused by a couple things really, the first being that she was a Turk and shouldn't be so clumsy, the other, was because this man was very beautiful, almost in a feminine way, but he didn't strike her as a girl at all.

As jittery as he was, trying to get bearings in a new place that was close to a war zone - and as safe as he'd been assured it was, it was a pretty big city, nevermind the question of if the other side could get in - he was also out exploring and trying to learn his way around, although still probably less cautious than Elena and just relying on being quiet and small and uninteresting.

Or well, he was quiet.

Right up until that stair in the side alley he'd cut through decided to not be where he thought it was, causing (one) loud flailing tumble down the stairs and out onto the sidewalk in a heap. "AAIGHFJABHA-...ooowww..."

Elena had jumped at the noise, but thanks to the ally's echo hadn't noticed the direction it was coming from until the young man tumbled into a heap quite literally at her feet. The blonde woman yelped as she tripped over him, luckily managing to protect herself as she fell. "Oh owwwie."

And suddenly, there was a girl. "Adkf;AAA!! OhgodI'msorry are you OK?!" He was scrambling, mid-flail, to sit up and check on her - and the sad truth was that it wasn't the first time he'd had people trip over him, run into him, et al at a time like this. "I didn't mean to get in the way!"

Elena waited for a moment before moving, not wanting to go to get up only to end up hit or kicked by accident. When the guy started talking to her she sat up calmly. "I'm alright, nothing seriously injured. I should have been watching where I was going."

(ooc Birdy don't forget to add his tag on this ;) )

Clare wasn't exactly well versed in anything that seemed to be commonplace here. What she was good at, was what got her through her day to day life. She was smart, very smart. So when she saw a woman wandering around looking nervous with her hand floating over something in her pocket. It was either a weapon or her communicator. Given the city had people as weapons, she leaned toward the other.

"Excuse me, miss. Are you expecting trouble?" Clare hadn't been out and around the city a lot. Mostly because this place was incredibly creepy. Everyone seemed to insist the city was safe but... this was one of those things that made her doubt that.

This and the map during orientation.

Elena blinked at the woman owlishly for a moment before she fully processed what the question was that she had been asked. "I'm not expecting any trouble, but in my line of work trouble tends to have a way of finding you." She said, pushing her blonde hair back out of her face.

Elena blinked a moment before arching a brow at Clare. "Not exactly, anyone not already here isn't going to just pop up and find me. Regardless there are those here who have, back home, opposed my employer and might see fit to use me as leverage against him if they were to get a hold of me." She explained, thinking to her self that this gal was an odd one, though not dumb by any means.
