[ Kurt is wandering around - strutting, you might say, but his strut is only this strut-y because he's actually pretty nervous - when he sees Shizuo. He walks over with a small smile, arms crossed. ]

Hey. [ He looks at Shizuo's name-tag and raises an eyebrow. ] I didn't know you were a Weapon... what kind?

[Jade is so excited to be around all these people who seem rather friendly, that it's hard for her to sit still. After talking to Kid for awhile and then visiting Dave, she finds a spot to sit down and just watch everyone. She is looking for a partner, of course, but hopes that it's someone she can make friends with.]

[N recalls Jade saying she needed a partner, but holds back for a moment, unsure how to approach her. Communication over the Network was all good and well, but N has never been that comfortable with people, and talking to them in-person feels like a whole new experience. He's been wandering around the gathering, staying on the edges of groups, and watching people mostly.

But eventually he'll decide saying "hi" is a good way to start things]

[ Kurt is wandering around, head held high and expression mostly impassive. There are a lot of people here - and he's nearly sure that none of them are going to approach him over the other more qualified Meisters, but it's worth showing up anyway. At least he can approach others, assuming the Weapons he approaches don't run away at the first sight of Kurt to hide behind bulkier, more experienced Meister friends.

Whatever, though. If nothing else he'll make himself available and visible (and it's impossible not to be visible, considering what he's wearing). ]

He's grabbed some cookies and is now scanning the area, looking for someone who seems like a strong weapon.
