[She wasn't interested in any food and stood off watching keenly the other party-goers. It seemed to her that this was going to have a large potential to simply waste her time, but at least she could say that she showed up and waited for the right opportunity.

Of course, with her battery supply operational again, the annoying clock that was supposed to tell her the time just continued to blink dashes. It was easy to ignore when she tugged down her infrared scanner, though that was not operational nor needed at the moment. It was a good deterrent for those who weren't serious about this event.

Arms crossed over her ample chest, she continued to watch and wait.]

[Souji was there nice and early. He'd swung by the tables for something to eat, but he wasn't really there for the free food. The truth was, as a swordsman and a captain of the Shinsengumi, he found it very strange to be serving on the Watch with no weapon to aid him, and he was hoping to rectify that situation as soon as he could. And showing up here had seemed like a good step. So he was hanging around, trying to look casual, but clearly a little awkward in the Western-style clothing he'd managed to acquire. His tee-shirt had a sparkly cupcake printed on it, though. That alone was worth the strangeness.]

[Minako had spent a couple of minutes staring at Kid's attempts to inject symmetry into the sandwich platters, before sneaking two - and exactly two, even though she wasn't really in the mood for much food, it just seemed easier to play along that antagonise any more Death Gods in her life - off the plate and settling herself down to watch what was happening.

She'd been brushing over the whole resonance and partnership thing for a while - not purposely, but just because life here had generally overtaken most of her priorities. However, with the recent(ish) partnership between Shinjiro-senpai and Kanaya-san, and Akihiko-senpai's arrival and sudden urge to throw himself straight into finding a weapon the whole partnership issue had re-emerged and left her with the decision to go out and at the very least discover what she cold do as a meister, even if she didn't find a weapon straight away

[Aerith had finished her work in the garden early enough to attend, and the decision to check out this little get-together had been a simple one. Transforming had been less difficult than she had anticipated, and though she isn't entirely sure about the process of finding a Meister, she might as well try out resonance as well. If she is lucky, she might even make another new friend or two.]

[Her eyes fall upon a young woman nearby, picking up the word Meister on her name tag from the short distance away. With a cheerful smile, the flower girl approaches her.]

It was nice of them to put this kind of thing together, don't you think?

[Minako starts slightly, before blinking at the woman who had just approached her. It didn't take too long for her to smile though, tilting her head slightly.]

Definitely. I think they've done this sort of thing before, but it's always nice to have a bit of help with this whole partnership thing.

[She holds out a hand.]
