[OPEN] TRAINING

Location: Training grounds near the park. Part of it’s an obstacle course, too.

[He's here as he is every day without fail, looking for spars. Today he has both an iaito and his bastard sword out in anticipation of training with his two-sword style. There's a bag with more weapons in it sitting next to a tree nearby though, so odds are fairly good that he'll end up with just about anything, and he may be inclined to share. Maybe.]

[Prone to observing or keeping to himself in the form of meditation, he'll occasionally agree to a spar. It's rare he actually looks for one, but seeing Vergil as he finishes running through his forms, he recalls the vague agreement to spar from before and circles around once as he moves toward him, watching.

Catching sight of the various weapons laid against the tree, he looks over them once before nodding in greeting]

Would you still be interested in that spar? While I specialize in empty-handed combat, I have no issue combating against one armed.

[Vergil glances across and regards Neji thoughtfully before responding. Truth be told, he only vaguely remembers their agreement - so much had seemingly happened since the Watch briefing - but he was quite keen nonetheless, given how the other had proven himself more than reliable during the course of the recent crises. He was curious now to discover whether or not his skills were equally dependable.]

Certainly, though I would prefer unarmed, I think. I rarely have the opportunity to spar against another trained martial artist, so I'd rather take the chance to test and refine my own technique a little.

[He doesn't shift to adopt a stance just yet, as there's a question or two he needs to ask first.]

If you don't mind me asking, have you discovered your Meister Ability yet?
