As soon as Brock had heard the rumour about Yuuri, he'd headed over to China's place. If Yuuri had been taken anywhere, it would be there. Brock had seen a lot of strange things in his time, but the thought that Yuuri was still alive, and had appeared again after so long...
He could definitely hear voices, but wasn't the kind of person to listen into a conversation. Instead, he leaned against the corridor wall, arms crossed, patiently waiting to see exactly who would emerge from China's room.
djdnsjdej! lost my goddamn reply! apologies for the suckagea_r0yal_flushAugust 31 2010, 02:58:52 UTC
Yuuri found his head spinning with all the information China had been telling them since they'd been found. They hadn't found any signs of Winry or Miranda in the area they'd appeared, and it left the young Maou worried. He hoped that nothing had happened to them. That was only one of two things weighing him down
( ... )
argh that sucks! is cool ^^call_me_h0neyAugust 31 2010, 04:03:42 UTC
Brock started as the door opened and he saw a dark haired... boy?? emerge.
Pushing off the wall, Brock stepped towards the youth, stopping in front of him, arms crossed, examining the boy's face intently. He looked like the Yuuri Brock remembered, but it had been ten years. He frowned, arms still crossed.
"Who are you?"
Brock's tone was a lot deeper and gruffer than used to be, and lines had appeared around his eyes and forehead as the past ten years in this environment took it's toll.
lol tell me about it. i so glared at my phone XD;a_r0yal_flushAugust 31 2010, 04:19:34 UTC
No sooner had he muttered those words did he hear someone approaching him. Glancing up in wide-eyed surprise, the young Maou gritted his teeth as he held back a startled sound. The gruff words didn't help, and he felt himself grow flustered by the easy question.
"Eh?!" Yuuri sounded before he smiled awkwardly, "Aah, Shibuya Yuuri." This guy seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

There seemed to be something happening within the Commune. China had come back to his home in a rush one day, with two people who she new weren't party of the community, neither here nor at Shibusen. One of them had looked awfully familiar, but he'd been quick to spirit them away to him home.
For now, Mulan wasn't overly concerned. She was sure that in due time she'd find out just what was going on with sheng. Perhaps if it had just been him she might have been more prone to prying, but his partner was a responsible woman. She'd keep him from getting hurt, or from keeping the rest of the community in the dark for too long
( ... )
Sandry, however, was deep in thought about what could possibly be going on. She wasn't one to leave her nose out of things- she was always curious as to what exactly was going on, and where. A bit of that had been tempered after moving to the Commune, but she was still as nosy as ever.
Her attention came back to the matter at hand shortly after Mulan spoke. They still had a job to do, and Sandry wouldn't forgive herself if she let something happen simply because she had been daydreaming.
"You're right. Sorry, I was thinking of something else." She paused before continuing. "What do you think is going on?"
Mulan smiled at her partner to show that no apology was necessary. She wasn't terribly surprised by Sandry's curiosity, so as she made her way further down the something dangerous mountain path she gave thought to the little information she had managed to glean.
"I saw sheng returning with two people, but I have no clue who they are." Therein lay the problem. Neither the commune here, nor what was now considered Shibusen was particularly large. BREW had ceased to function years ago, which mean that there were no new faces, if anything, only lost ones. So really, most everyone knew everyone else after these ten long years
( ... )
Sandry followed, cautiously making sure that she wouldn't stray from the path. Although this was a regular route for her, she was always very careful; accidents could happen to anyone, she had learned.
"How can someone not know who they are? We haven't heard of anyone new in years." That fact alone was frightening. Could there be someone out there that they hadn't heard of? Certainly, there were people who they hadn't seen in years- Sandry thought of all the people who had left them quite some time ago. But no one remotely new ever came across their Commune.
"There is the possibility of another commune, I suppose. I've never heard of one, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist."

There was nobody to tend to, meaning that the path was free for the time being. Once she'd started to hear word about once-forgotten strangers appearing suddenly in the camp, Naomi headed out of the clinic set up in the CWC and towards the Agency. If there was any truth in these rumors, she wanted to know - and if she wanted to know that, this seemed like a good place to start
( ... )
Raidou, in the meantime, was going over the paperwork that had just come in - supply lists, data on the last run-ins CWC members had had with Witches, bits and pieces from his info lines. The young man blinked at the sound of the knock, though, and set what he had been reading.
Naomi entered as told, taking a look at what Raidou was occupied with as she did. It looked like he was busy with something...maybe he might not know something after all, thought it wouldn't hurt to try. If he didn't know, now was as good as any time to find out.
"Have you heard the stories going around?" she asked. "They're saying two people have appeared in the camp. They're not invaders, but I haven't heard anything about who they are or why they're here yet."

Laura Kinney had, of course, heard all about the new arrivals - she had seen them, even, felt their confusion over their coming. The girl, however, had not dwelt too much on the matter. There were more pressing matters at hand.
One such issue was security: it was for that reason that she was sitting on her favorite rock on the outskirts of CWC, looking off towards the "road" that led to the encampment. The authorities could handle the matter; she just wanted to make sure that everyone was all right.
Should they order her to fight, though, she was ready.

The whole thing was giving Rai the worst feelings of dejavous. It was all too familiar with something that he'd already gone through back home, ten years ago. It was ironic really. He still had drifting memories from the split time line that had ceased to exist when they were able to fix everything. It was a lot like remembering two lives.
Though, more importantly, this gave him hope. Maybe a difference could be made if they were able to send the time-travelers back home. It made all the difference in his case in the past, after all.
There was a lot to think about-- so Rai felt the need for a walk. He wasn't surprised to find his weapon sitting in her usual place by the path. He grinned a bit, approaching from behind. "Yo- Anyone come through?"
He joined her by the side, not sitting but slightly leaning. What she said though, earned her a snort.
"Maybe on your end. The news has this whole place talking." He sighed, but with a smile. "It's been a while since I've seen it this-" No, maybe excited was a bad word. "-lively."
Rai was a hopeful sort- but he knew better than to assume too soon. Staying optimistic was about hoping for the best- but preparing for the worst.

Raidou smiled, standing up to greet the other. And, in response to her query:
"...Yes, I have heard the news. I am afraid I know very little, though. China-dono has not approached me yet."
