( Anyone ever have their favorite familiar change? )

I started playing Kol in December so I'm still pretty new to the game. I do however really want to complete an ascension sooner rather than later so now that I'm up to level 13 I'm starting to look in to the whole process. I've had a look at the wiki page but there are a couple of things that I still have questions about.

So, I've got two multis, one hardcore and one softcore. I got snowy owls for both of them.

I named one of them Neil, and the other one Angry Inch.

Anyone else particularly proud of anything they've named their familiars?

So, I got a new familiar. Anyone who knows me would know why it's dear to me. But it's done something unusual...

Badger floats above your opponent and drips caustic juice on it.

...what is he actually doing, in terms of enemy stats or what have you? Or is it just there for effect?

I just got married yesterday, and I'm having trouble with the "H" word.... so I bought the Familiar-of-the-month and named it "My Husband." So now I'm reading aloud as it says "My Husband changes into a Cheshire Bat," though he wasn't happy with "My Husband gains a pound!"

Have any of you hardcore ascenders purchased something from Mr. Store? I'm wondering about what happens when you purchase a familiar. Does it get put in storage or in your current inventory ( Read more... )
