Snickerdoodles are amazing because they are the first sweet thing I discovered that I could keep down yesterday (then the mini cupcakes).

Portal is amazing because portal. My dog is scared of portal, I find this hilarious.

Amusingly enough, what I am loving today is also a knitting pattern. This scarf pattern matches the armwarmers I'm making wonderfully, and I hadn't thought of making anything to match them, but now I want to.

Unrelated to knitting, I am loving this comment.

Isn't the pattern gorgeous? And that is pretty much the color I was making my DNA scarf out of exactly, except now I've decided I'm not going to make that scarf. So I have all this really good yarn in that exact color, and I am sorely tempted. Even though I stopped making the scarf because I never wear scarves. >> *fail*

Synaesthesia is fun! Except when it's not, like when there are goddamn whiny violins all over the classical station and you have to shut the radio off because the angle's too sharp and they (the shapes of the noises) are stretched too far. It 'feels' like they should snap, but they never do, and it makes my teeth itch. And I hate the THX noise like fire. P's not fond of it either, but he lol'd at the face I made when we cued up Hidalgo. (That movie made for squeeful hazel.)

Speaking of cool Castlevania things, if you have not been here or heard these, you totally need to. They are AMAZING omfgomfgomfgomfg and 'Scourge of 1691' is so very EPIC
