Waiting at the airport, thinking things, and worrying about my poor posture
I just realized that I am 37 years old and I still don't have a real opinion about gun control.
Con 1.) Guns are a really big part of murder these days. So that's a negative.
Pro 2.) Some day we might want to overthrow our stupid government, and I'd like to keep our options open.

Little by little, my housemate is restoring my faith in the pleasant experience of being pretty. And I like it. So suck on that. -
Unintended slogans
A bunch of my friends joined the Oakland Facebook group (and real, honest-to-god social justice org) Just Cause. Maybe it's the negative influence of stand up comedian, Aziz Ansari--I've been watching him for sometime now, and he's also on the undervalued tv show, Parks and Recreation--but it occurred to me that Just Cause is the unintended slogan ( Read more... ) -

Incident
I was just walking to the store for ice cream when I walked passed a group of young guys standing around and laughing over some sort of incident that happened in the street. Apparently a bicyclist had been hit in the street. He rode away on his bike, so apparently he was okay. But the laughing really pissed me off. There was also an older lady who ( Read more... ) -
It's like a ghost town up in here
Holy crap, it is freaky how LJ has emptied out. In less than a year Facebook and Twitter have brought Livejournal to a standstill, at least for people within my own social circle. But I know that I am not alone in this experience ( Read more... )
