The Harvest Cafe
Last night Tj and I went out in search of food. We wanted to got o Target so figured we'd hit a chain restaurant nearby but, of course, it was Friday night. We ended up back in Hudson (sans Target visit) at the Harvest Cafe, a local joint. It was pretty nice - casual but good. Moving and Shaking
So . . . we moved. The movers came on Wednesday while I was on my first day of new job training. I drove up from Providence and stopped at the new place but couldn't get in because I had a badly cut key so I continued on to work where I met everyone (finally) and we spent about 7+ hours going over our student population, teaching, etc etc. When I ( Read more... ) -
WOW
So our friends in Delaware, C&D, play World of Warcraft and invited me for a free trial run. Since I used to play D&D how could I resist. I started yesterday and played for many hours. I am a night elf and am now level 8 after joining up with C for a quest tonight. Good to slay monsters with help! I can see it being very time consuming ( Read more... ) -

Apparently, 42 really is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. I packed up the contents of my office today and filled 42 boxes with books, files, and papers. All my knowledge in 42 boxes.
Today is my brother's birthday. Happy Birthday Steve! I hope you don't already have the present I got for you . . . .

Today, TJ and I planned on taking the ferry from Providence to Newport, mostly for the boat ride as it was going to be a nice day, but when we found out it would cost $50 for the 2 of us round trip we changed our plans. 1 wedding and a surprise
As I mentioned in my last post, TJ went to Delaware on Thursday night to "perform" the wedding of his friend. I had a great time alone on Friday. I ran errands and bought a pair of super cute shoes at REI - they're green and Keen. Mummy
On Monday I went to see The Mummy. Sometimes a girl just needs a little popcorn and alone time with Brendan Fraser. It was an amusing and perfectly pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. I actually really like going to the movies by myself.

Milk and Leases
We signed the lease on the new apartment today. I wish I could say I was super-thrilled about it but the prospect of moving YET AGAIN fills me with despair. In the 7 years I have lived in the area I have moved 7 times and this will be # 8. Yes. I also went to 4 different high schools in a 4 year period so you'd think I'd be used to it.
