So pretty! I didn't sew mine at all, just cut up the gazillion receiving blankets we got. As you suspected, they do wash great and they fray very little on the edges. Just enough to look nice. Ours our flannel, fyi.

Hoping you are holding your little girl soon...

having a baby any day now and making her own baby wipes! what a woman! not long now. can you believe she will literally be here any day now? so exciting! cannot wait to hear all about it and see pics. the wipes are cool, by the way. nice job! chris

That's fabulous.

Other stuff you might enjoy doing while you wait:

give your cats and plants extra attention. I know you have some beautiful houseplants (or you have in the past) and if they need cutting back or anything, do it now.

Sit still in your nursing spots. Look up. What do you see? If there are papers to be sorted, a shelf to be neatened, a box of stuff to be dealt with, or anything else that might annoy you when you are staring out it for hours a day over weeks, unable to find 15 minutes to deal with it, do it now.

And don't forget naps and small healthful meals.

Oh, and think really, really long and hard before trying castor oil. It's not to be taken lightly. Just saying, cause I'm a busy-body and I love you guys.
