Had my six weeks post partum appointment today and I am glad to tell you that everything is all healed up. My midwife's euphemism was that I am "back in business, given time, energy, and inclination."

Woo hoo for no permanent damage to the plumbing!

This morning we hit the birth center early - 8:30 in the AM. They checked, and the fluid I was leaking was of the amniotic variety. I started contrax 8-10 mins apart at about 2am. We're headed to the birth center to get checked out in a little while. If they send us home to labor here I'll probably post updates, but if not you'll just have to deal. :)

So..... my water might have broken this evening while I walked home from dinner out.

I have to see the midwives first thing in the morning to get it checked out - the 24 hour clock does not start ticking until the first vaginal exam. Hopefully something will happen before we have to worry about needing to be induced.

We'll try to keep you posted.

My pregnancy ticker thingy is pissing me off this morning. It says I am 1 day overdue - no, fucko, I am 1 day past my estimated due date. I will not be overdue until I am 42 weeks pregnant. That date is nearly two weeks away ( Read more... )
