Nope.

Don't get excited. I feel like I have a small bowling ball inside my pelvis - very few contractions, just pressure.

The plan yesterday and today is to stay upright and active as much as possible. Last night I had about 4 strong contractions in an hour, and got excited but they stopped.

I bought stuff to make cloth baby wipes a while ago, and finally got around to getting the sewing machine out and working on them Tuesday. I had to search long and hard for the sewing machine manual, clean out the bobbin tray and replace the needle before I could really get started. The stitches were all screwy initially but finally I got the machine to cooperate. It just needed some love.

They are made from second hand flannel receiving blankets and a white towel. I had matching thread hanging around leftover from a quilt I made a while back. So - total cost is around $3.

In process:

I made two different types of wipe, 16 of each. One has two layers of flannel sewn together, the other is one layer of flannel and one layer of terry cloth. I did not bother trying to make them all the same size or perfectly straight edges - cause really, we're gonna use them to wipe the baby's butt, who cares? After a wash or two the edges will fray nicely and look better than they do now.

Side B:

I was going to take long walks yesterday and today but it is like 30 degrees out there and I think I'd just end up having asthma. That would not be good. I'm trying really hard to not be super-impatient about this baby but I am really uncomfortable and just ready to hold my little girl.
