While I can't say I've made considerable progress on my resolutions, I was able to dredge up some amount of information regarding the City. It seems that, in my previous stay here, I jotted down observations and notes. I'm not sure if they're at all useful, but, in the interest of keeping them readily accessible, I would like to copy them here.

From what I can tell, it was a rather limited survey. Judging from recent activity on the network, I would guess that that number is considerably higher in actuality.

Anything to further investigative efforts! Perhaps if everyone interested in solving the puzzles of the City put their heads together, we might stumble across something.

That sounds like an excellent idea. I know there's many many people who would like to return to their own worlds, and with the proper organisation I think we could make significant progress in undertaking research.

A colleague of mine was beheaded while afflicted by the zombie plague. He returned to life straight away, but I'm starting to worry if this will affect his ability to get home.

Oh my! That's... unfortunate. From what I've read, I don't believe anyone who has died during their stay in the City is allowed to return to their home worlds, with the exception of those who die during a certain curse. Whether or not that zombie business would qualify as an exception to the rule... hm. It's anyone's guess, I suppose.
