Youji's eyes narrowed. Not important; this was not exactly an unknown territory. Infiltration, that was something he could do, and it didn't take him long to isolate a careless, lazy guard. One who would walk away occasionally, just far enough not to be heard, just far enough to turn a corner out of sight, and just careless enough not to hear a practiced assassin sneak up behind him. He even removes his headpiece to brush his hair out of his eyes, and he doesn't notice until Youji's hands are on his neck, pressing, choking him until he falls, blacked out or dead, Youji doesn't really care. He takes the armor, walks back, and sidles up next to Alice's cell. He kneels when the other guards aren't looking, and waits to see if she'll speak to him.
It'll look less suspicious, her speaking to him, than him speaking to her.
He lifted the headpiece, just enough for a clear view of his face, and smiled.
"Ready to get the hell out of here?" he asked, softly, eyes drifting to look over at the lock. Was there anything he could pick it with? Or... for less effort...
"Do you know who has the keys, sweetheart? Can you describe them at all?"
Her eyes widened and she tried to get up quickly to get to the door.
"Y-Youji?" she went to the door but the window was too high for her to look out of it. Alice took several steps back so she could keep seeing the older man. But just as she could see him, he would be able to see her. Muck and grime covered her dress and the black ribbon was stark against her pale neck. A bruise was forming on her cheek but she didn't care. All she cared about was seeing a friendly face.
She couldn't help but feel her eyes burn and water and she wiped at them. At his question she couldn't help but feel useless.
"I-I d-don't know. It was too dark Youji. It's still t-too dark."
[Ty Lee, for a moment, was disoriented. It was a prison, that much was clear, but certainly not Boiling Rock or any other Fire Nation prison she had been to. It was much too cold for that. She took in the dank surroundings and mixing with the sound of wind and rain, there was a soft sobbing coming from a nearby cell. She padded over, but gripped the bars of the cell when she realized who the small figure was. Her voice came out as a hushed whisper, not wanting to alert anyone else that may have been listening.]
Shizuo really had no idea how he got here. After pretty much ignoring the Dreamberry for most of the week -- due to trying to hunt for Izaya, of course -- he was just idly scrolling through the various posts and messages when he just happened to, literally, stumble upon young Alice's dream.
He was actually outside of the girl's cell, and he didn't even have to look at himself. He could tell he was still wearing the stupid armor.
His irritation rose substantially, but it was cut short when he heard someone...sobbing?
"...?" There were a few prison cell doors, lined up on either side, and so he walked slowly around, not saying a word as he tried to pinpoint the location. It was only until he drew closer to the one Alice was in that he could finally figure out that the sobbing came from her cell door.
She chanced a glance up when she heard the soft "clink-clink-clink" come towards her door. When she saw Shizuo she pulled herself closer into a corner. What did this guard want? Was he going to take her to be executed now? She was scared at the idea of leaving but also at the idea of staying in the dark cell.
'Please go away please go away please go away.'
She didn't want to hear the words "get up" or the insults they sometimes threw at her. She whimpered.
Peering inside, Shizuo was actually pretty shocked to see the young girl inside. ...What the hell...who'd put a kid inside a prison cell...?
He had noticed her move back, but he was used to reactions like that on a daily basis, so it didn't bother him on a personal level. However, it did make him a little concerned when he heard the whimper.
Now thought of people kidnapping children and torturing them filled his mind, his rage skyrocketing to a dangerous level. What kind of son of a bitch would do that kind of thing? He didn't even have to talk to the girl to know that there was nothing wrong with her. She didn't look like some kid who deserved to be in a prison. And that cell
( ... )
She jumped up in surprise as the door suddenly crunched open. She pressed herself against the wall and watched as the door seemed to just... disappear. Alice didn't know what do at the sight. Surely she hadn't upset the guard so much?
Alice was shaking when the door was gone. Who was this man? Was he rescuing her?

Dastan had been watching the dream, worried about the young girl, when he had strangely been pulled in. As he touched the wet walls of the prison, he wondered if this was how people had felt when they had entered his own dream, days ago. But it didn't matter for now. The Prince knew he had to find Alice and wake her up, so they could both be free.
As he silently moved through the sinister hallways of the prison, he pulled out a dagger he had hidden on himself earlier: his costume didn't come with a very stealthy weapon. The device that made things explode was useful, but he hadn't want to bring any attention to his presence in Alice's dream. He left a trail of dead guards in his wake and finally came up to the young girl's cell. He knelt down, his cloak pooling around him, hiding him in the darkness. Only the prisoner would be able to see him.
"Princess...Princess...it's Dastan....are you all right?" he murmured, though knowing well the question was obsolete: he could hear well her sobs.

She was shaking. Her skin freezing from the conditions and the weather seeping into her cell. At hearing Dastan call out to her she wiped at her eyes and stood up. She walked over towards the door and put her hands on the rust and much covered iron. As she neared the door the bright purple and black bruise on her cheek was much more visible. The black ribbon around her neck was a cruel reminder.
"D-Dastan?" she whispered. She couldn't see him, the window was too high in the door for her to see out of it. She closed her eyes, trembling.
There was a small sigh of relief escaping his lips as he heard Alice answering him.
"I know, Princess, I know. I need to get as far from the door as you can, all right? I am going to break it down..."
Once he was sure she was safely against the farthest wall of her cell, Dastan used the device that shoot lights and made things explode that came with his costume and aimed it at the door lock. As planned, the metal sparked and the door unlocked itself. With a swift kick, it opened and the Prince was quickly in the cell, looking around for the young girl.
