This must be the man he was to see. Bowing his head politely, Nakago let the cold demand roll off of him. It hadn't bothered him in the least. Not when he'd experienced worse and done worse. Casually, he observed the interior of this place again. For future reference should he require such unnecessary knowledge

Cool blue eyes slid over to a tree that stood there. Lifting his hand, a blue light appeared. Nakago seemed to force it from his hand and the light grew until it smashed into the tree.

What was left of the tree could only be described as splinters. Those he lifted with an invisible force and had them fly over to them rapidly as if they would pierce them both. Before such a thing could happen a barrier appeared around them and the splinters never reached them. They fell to the ground and Nakago looked back at Javert.

And waited patiently for his verdict.

Javert understood remarkable strength. He had seen it in men like Jean Valjean, who despite his old bones, could lift as much as four healthy young men combined. That kind of strength was enough to give him a rare shudder when it was turned on him.

"Stronger than you look, indeed," muttered Javert

Javert's reaction was rather amusing. A fact he didn't mention nor show. He merely nodded his acceptance of the fact as he waited for the man to finish his conclusion. What he heard pleased him. The rest of the week shadowing others. Then working on his own. Nakago nodded again calmly.

This was working well.

"Of course." He waited until Javert joined him so that his new superior could lead the way back. Give him that power after showing him that he could steal his position easily. Destroy him even.

He could smile later once Javert was not there to see him.
