I saw it coming before it did, as usual. The vision came to me and a part of me didn't believe what I was seeing. The dreams had been hard to accept, hard to separate from the visions. So at first, I thought it was a dream.
But when I looked into the future again, the fog cleared and I saw him. I saw his face. And as soon as I recognized the surroundings, I left the mansion. I didn't even bother looking for Edward or telling anyone where I was going. He was here. He was here.
And when I finally got to that field, when I saw the tree line, past the church, my world began to spin. My eyes frantically searched, desperately looking for the one person I was always thinking of, always looking out for.
I let an arm rest upon the trunk of a tree, my forehead upon my arm as I stared out at the fields. I can't recall the last time I'd felt so utterly hopeless. I sighed, my fingers raking through a portion of my thick, curled hair before I suddenly stopped

The vision of our reunion hit me just as I saw him. It really is him. And through the fog of the vision, I could see him running towards me. Of course, I refused to let him do all the work, so I began to run towards him as well

I could barely control the relief I felt, and I could tell Alice was getting more of it than I'd intended. I began to reel the emotions back in as I held her close, graciously accepting her flitting kisses and placing a few to her cheek myself. I should have known she would come to find me. She must have seen me here. I'm just glad she knew where to look.
Her happiness was a major comfort, and I gladly welcomed it as I refused to let her go just yet. Her words were soothing, and I sighed. It helped relax me a bit, but I was still worried and confused. Where were we? How did we get here?
"Alice... What is this place?" I asked, placing a hand to her cheek to look into her eyes. So far, all I knew was that we weren't home. I did agree that us being together was all that mattered, but I was worried about our family. If we couldn't get home, I knew they'd worry about us as well, especially Esme. She worries about a lot of things and cares for us all so much.

Yuuko was passing through the clearing when she noticed the young man standing in the shadows of the trees. She turned slightly to have a better look at him, feeling the air around him. It was familiar and she tried to remember for a moment where she had felt this supernatural aura before. But it was the widened golden eyes and the slight sparkles his skin made when the breeze moved the leaves casting the shadow over him. There was no doubt in the Witch's mind that the young man belonged to the same world than the brooding boy she had met in the cafe not so long ago.
She walked to him, a small smile on her face, one eyebrow slightly raised. The confused, nearly panicked expression on the pale face made her realized that he had just arrived to this world. Even if she was fairly new, she felt compelled to help the poor boy.
"I'm sorry to say, but you are not home anymore. Though I'm sure you have guessed as much by now..."

I really didn't need to breathe, but the deep breaths I was beginning to take were somewhat of a help in calming me down. I couldn't stay out here forever. I wasn't a monster. I could socialize just fine, right? Right
( ... )
Crimson eyes watched the young man closely, his struggle to breathe not unnoticed to the Witch. The boy in the cafe had not seemed to have any problems with controlling whichever urges they both seemed to have. But then again, even though they were the same creatures, it did not meant that they were both on the same side. The brooding boy had clearly been used to be around humans, but this young man, she wasn't that certain of it
( ... )
I watched her closely, noticing that she had shifted in a manner that - thankfully - kept her scent from being brushed in my direction. I could feel that she had no intention to harm me, but her words were what truly caught me by surprise
