*Itachi sensed his partner's presence, but did not turn to greet him. His eyes were still trained on the sign that said: Closed. He finally turned to give his partner a side glance.*
After her experience with Kaname, Naomi had spent the last two weeks keeping to herself in her lab, rarely stepping outside by herself. Even if the vampire had barely touched her, the woman wasn't stupid enough to not realize what he was capable of. In fact, almost all of the people in this place could easily overpower her.
However, after days inside, Naomi could barely help herself from stepping outside for a walk. It was almost summer and the weather in Somarium was much more beautiful than she ever remembered having back home.
Stepping across from Itachi, the doctor's gaze flickered over to him briefly as she paused, but she had no intention of calling out to him quite yet.
Someone was approaching--as he could tell by the clicking of shoes against the pavement, which also meant that it was a woman--and it was not a presence that Itachi recognized.
He kept his stance fairly aloof and unassuming, but allowed his senses to take over, keeping track of the woman as she neared him.
He allowed his eyes to slide over to look at this person, taking in the long coat and passive stance.
There was silence between them, and Itachi waited, wondering if this person would say anything instead of taking the lead himself. It was better to allow others to make the first move.
Reaching up to brush her dark hair behind her ear, Naomi sucked in a small breathe before continuing. Someone waiting in front of a café couldn't be all that terrifying.
Straightening in place, the doctor let her arm fall to her side.
Ah, yes, standing outside of a closed shop alone on the street would be conspicuous Itachi realized. But it seemed that he had managed to find one person who he could question for more information, and therefore his conspicuousness was more of a boon than a detriment.
Turning to stare at the woman more directly, he replied, "I merely sought to find what hours it would be open. I am new to this area."
*There is a flare of dark waves of energy rushing towards him, and Itachi is immediately on edge, his fingers grasping a kunai that has dropped down from the straps on his arm, but still hidden by his sleeve. He readies himself for possible conflict, not sure why the chakra of the person feels so...demonic.
Then the person curses and Itachi is slightly confused by his behavior. Is he angry that the shop was closed?*
*Heat crosses his arms over his chest. Perhaps that fireball tattoo (does it have teeth?) on his arm will give Itachi some strange, unsettling vibes. He grumbles,*
After returning young Gailardia to Saber's apartment Frederic decided that, as he was in the city already, he would go for a walk in the park he had discovered during his last visit. It was a very relaxing place, and he had promised to give Saber the directions to it, so he was making sure he knew them well enough.
As he walked towards the lake, he was surprised to find that the cafe he had seen the last time was much less lively. The only person around was a young man who was looking in the window. Some tea would have been nice, but it appeared as if the cafe was closed. He smiled politely at the young man.
Given how lifeless the streets had been, Itachi was surprised by the young man's arrival. But his stance was calm and unobtrusive, so Itachi did not believe he was someone looking for trouble. At the same time, the man's forward behavior in speaking to a stranger so easily left Itachi wondering response he should give, if any. Going over the situations possible outcomes for a moment, he decided it would best to answer, instead of making himself appear more conspicuous than he already did.
"Ah. That is a shame indeed." He said. As he got closer, Frederic looked inside the window of the cafe, quite impressed by the setting of it all... Since he had been distracted by the Segway in his first visit he hadn't really had the chance to go inside. It was amazing that a teenage boy was able to create such an elaborate setup on his own. "Did you come to have something to eat as well? Or did you have some business with Tamaki?"
Watching the young man as he inspected the view through the large window, Itachi wondered about his reason for appearing in front of the shop at this time of evening. He was not sure how to behave with someone who was both curious and distracted, very casual in his behavior towards him. Although given that he was trying to learn more about the area, Itachi decide it would work best to use his own confusion to his advantage.
"No, I was merely searching for when the shop would be open again. It seems to be a very...interesting place."
this isn't an INN!!seeker_of_sevenApril 22 2009, 03:32:37 UTC
Bakura wanders along the street. seeing the cafe he stops and lets out a rather impressive string of curse words. "WHERE THE HELL IS THAT DAMN INN?!?" he hollars, pissed.

The white-haired interloper shatters the silence of the night and breaks throggh Itachi's thoughts as he stands in front of the café. His aggressive and irritated approach was one that put Itachi on edge, as he was not sure what the newcomer's intentions were. After hearing his shout of frustration, Itachi is only more confused. The café is obviously not an inn and he has not seen one around this area during his searching. So the man is very mistaken, or just lost.

Bakura looks around, extremely annoyed. His feet were killing him, he'd been on them all day, and he was looking forward to a hot meal and a soft bed. It had yet to occur to him that he had no money. As he glances around him he spots Itachi.
snarling to himself, knowing he was going to have to be civil to get anywhere he stalks over to Itachi. Trying his best to smile and act nonthreatening, and failing, he asks through gritted teeth, "do you know where an Inn, or anywhere I can eat and sleep, is?" the whole effect is rather frightening, especially his grimice, which was supposed to be a friendly smile.

Itachi is almost amused by the man's attempts to real in his natural killer intent, as but he does not lose his alertness, because it could be a feint to lower his guard.
"No, as far as I have seen, there isn't one in this area."
