After returning young Gailardia to Saber's apartment Frederic decided that, as he was in the city already, he would go for a walk in the park he had discovered during his last visit. It was a very relaxing place, and he had promised to give Saber the directions to it, so he was making sure he knew them well enough.
As he walked towards the lake, he was surprised to find that the cafe he had seen the last time was much less lively. The only person around was a young man who was looking in the window. Some tea would have been nice, but it appeared as if the cafe was closed. He smiled politely at the young man.
Given how lifeless the streets had been, Itachi was surprised by the young man's arrival. But his stance was calm and unobtrusive, so Itachi did not believe he was someone looking for trouble. At the same time, the man's forward behavior in speaking to a stranger so easily left Itachi wondering response he should give, if any. Going over the situations possible outcomes for a moment, he decided it would best to answer, instead of making himself appear more conspicuous than he already did.
"Ah. That is a shame indeed." He said. As he got closer, Frederic looked inside the window of the cafe, quite impressed by the setting of it all... Since he had been distracted by the Segway in his first visit he hadn't really had the chance to go inside. It was amazing that a teenage boy was able to create such an elaborate setup on his own. "Did you come to have something to eat as well? Or did you have some business with Tamaki?"
Watching the young man as he inspected the view through the large window, Itachi wondered about his reason for appearing in front of the shop at this time of evening. He was not sure how to behave with someone who was both curious and distracted, very casual in his behavior towards him. Although given that he was trying to learn more about the area, Itachi decide it would work best to use his own confusion to his advantage.
"No, I was merely searching for when the shop would be open again. It seems to be a very...interesting place."
"Interesting... That may very well be a good way to describe it." Frederic said. He was actually surprising himself with his forwardness today. He was starting to become more accustomed to meeting people in this way, and he assumed that was why he was becoming more willing to interact with others, at least in small talk. "It seemed quite lively the previous time I visited."
Lively? Itachi wondered. If the shop dealt with a high amount of costumers are a regular basis, then it would not be place that Itachi would situate himself...at least not often. It could still be a good location to gain intelligence, and he knew many ways to keep others unaware of his presence should he choose to use them. He gave a brief, side glance to the window filled with display sweets. Yes, this could be a good place to learn more from people when they were less inclined to guard their words in such a cozy, comfortable atmosphere.
"Ah, then I shall have to visit once more when it is open. Thank you."
"You're quite welcome." Frederic said, having indulged his own curiosity about the cafe enough. If it wasn't open, there wouldn't be much point in remaining there, and of course he wanted to get home before it became too dark. It generally did not matter as much to him at the beginning of his stay, but recently he had been running into trouble more often, and he wished to avoid that as much as possible. Besides, he had a composition to work on.
"I hope that you have a pleasant evening." He said, nodding politely and turning to continue on his way.
Itachi watched as the young individual walked away, only to once more turn his eyes back to the elegantly designed window display. He had the urge to release a sigh, but stopped it before it left his lips.

There would be other chances.
