There's been a teenager lying on the fountain's rim, holding a book over himself while he reads. He looks insufferably bored, and whatever text he has is clearly not holding his attention. Every now and then his eyes start drooping closed, before he snaps them back open and brings them back into focus.

Eventually the inevitable happens: his eyes droop closed, and don't open again immediately. The book starts lowering, he starts relaxing--and with a SPLASH he falls right into the fountain. The water must be deeper than it looks, because the splash goes surprisingly far for such a disturbance. Anyone close, or even not so close, gets wet.

Zelos, luckily, was a little out of the reach of the fountain's new "spray," but the sudden clunk of a body falling in snapped Zelos right out of his musing. He stood up, half worried over what was going on and mostly just plain curious to see what half-wit decided to take a bath in the water.

The ´half-wit´shows his head soon enough, scrambling to his feet and muttering curses. The book he has is soaked, and he tries in vain to wipe the water from its pages.

Cross from the unpleasant wakeup, and irritated by the book´s unfortunate state, Danny scowls sullenly when he notices Zelos watching. "What?"

Zelos just blinks and shrugs, not too affected by the rather nasty scowl the kid has on. "Nothing. Just wondering why you thought the fountian seemed like a good place for a dip."

Because Ion looks like a girl. Hurhur. caprice_of_song April 21 2009, 03:34:18 UTC
For some reason, bright red hair automatically prompted curiosity from Ion. It could have been that it reminded him of Luke, or maybe that he sort of half-hoped Asch had returned (though that was doubtful--it was much too soon).

By the time he had confirmed that it was indeed someone else entirely, he was somewhat too close to just leave without saying something. He didn't want to be rude, after all.

"Um, hello," Ion said, trying to be friendly. "I'm not sure I've seen you before."

Oh dear. YOU ASKED FOR IT. likesmelons April 21 2009, 03:43:39 UTC
Zelos was caught up in thought at first, and didn't quite focus on the person who had come up beside him. Ion's voice shook him from his train of thought and he looked up, blinking a little before a grin broke out on his face.

"Well, hello~" he said, his tone cheerful. "I'm afraid I haven't seen you before either. It's a pleasure."

HIS VOICE DOESN'T HELP. OTL caprice_of_song April 21 2009, 04:01:44 UTC
He had certainly not been expecting such a friendly response. Nonetheless, it was nice that this guy seemed so friendly. He was surprised only for a moment, but then returned the smile.

"I could say the same," he said pleasantly, offering his hand (and not realizing what he was walking into). "I'm Ion."

NOT AT ALL I'M AFRAID. You'd better set Zelos right before he goes too far. :'| likesmelons April 21 2009, 04:05:24 UTC
Zelos grinned, accepting the hand with flourish, planting a light kiss on the top. "Zelos. Zelos Wilder. It's not very often I get to meet a real cutie like you."

time paradox. because Judith's just all over the place luna_tempest April 21 2009, 03:54:55 UTC
The typical daily stroll of the Krityan woman was interrupted when she couldn't help but wonder if she spot a slightly familiar face. Sure, it had been one time that they met, but she had gotten into the habit of reminding people in this small world called Somarium. After all, they could be of use to her later on.

And so Judith approached her acquaintance-of-sorts and couldn't pass up the chance to make conversation, "Zelos, is it? My, I'm not used to seeing you around. I had gotten the idea that you just stay inside a lot." As with everyone else, she remained direct. Never mind that they were close to strangers.

Zelos is down with that. If it means he gets to be with a chick, he's down with anything. likesmelons April 21 2009, 03:59:09 UTC
Zelos blinked a little, looking up from his musing to the faintly familiar woman. He paused briefly before smiling at her with that trademark grin of his.

"Well, hello there~! Judith, I believe?" he said, honestly glad to have some company. "And you wound me, my fair maiden! Although, with how long I seem to have been missing, I'm not surprised people might think that."

lmao. Oh Zelos~ Well this one'll be a challenge luna_tempest April 21 2009, 04:09:37 UTC
"I'm surprised that you remember," she offered an amused smile in return, "And here I thought I was rather forgettable." And while most would say that her antennae were rather noticeable, not to mention her outfit far from forgettable, it was true in her perspective. As a Krityan, she was hardly different.

"Are you saying that I'm wrong? You can't blame me for jumping to conclusions when I've yet to notice you outside much," was her response. Not meant to wound him further, but only the truth as she saw it.

A challenge? Ooooh, he loves him a challenge. likesmelons April 21 2009, 04:15:47 UTC
"I never would be able to forget a face as beautiful as yours," he said, affection teasing in his voice. Judith really was quite the beauty, and her body was just his type to boot. ♥ How could he forget that, antennae or not, hmm~?

"Aaah, not arguing with you there, hunny," he said, laughing a little. "I'm afraid I just haven't gotten much of a choice in my lack of fresh air, though. Seems like sleeping here includes me going missing for weeks. Wounds me to know that you think of me as some poor deluded shut in though," he said, with a flourish of a sigh. Way to be over dramatic, much.

Well this will end well. prismbullet April 21 2009, 03:58:07 UTC
Legretta had decided to choose that morning to go for a jog. While she had been doing some minor workouts back at her apartment, she knew it would be better if she also did some outdoor exercise.

So by the time she had reached Zelos, she had pretty much completely her run. Even though it was starting to get warmer, it didn't bother her too much. So she continued to run pass Zelos, not really paying attention to him.

It should be noted that she was wearing a white tank top and black shorts, though her guns were still attached to her hip, which probably looked a little off but she didn't care. It wasn't as if she was trying to look nice or anything.

Very well, of course. likesmelons April 21 2009, 04:03:20 UTC
Zelos, quite happily in retrospect, had decided to look up as he heard the gentle noise of someone jobbing nearby him. What he didn't expect was such a babe jogging by, and in quite the appetizing outfit to boot. He could ignore the guns. The ones on her chest were far more interesting anyway.

He got up with a bit of a grin on his face, jogging up next to her. "Well, hello there, hunny~! I believe I haven't seen your beautiful face before~"

Legretta only spared him a side glance as she continued to jog along. It was tempting to just ignore the buffoon but she knew he would just follow her. He seemed to be the type.

"I'd rather that had stayed as it were." Though she had also never seen his face before. A newcomer?

"Aw, cold shoulder, huh?" he teased, laughing a little. He kept jogging with her though, easily keeping up. Ignoring him or not, she was well worth it. A challenge in wooing a woman was always much more fun than having them fall right into his arms, after all.

"Don't say such cruel things though~ A beauty such as yours needs to be appreciated! Admired! Fawned over!" he said, speaking as if this was of the uttermost importance. Which it usually was to Zelos, but, regardless. "I can offer all these services and more, my stunning beauty~"

Luke was randomly walking around Espoir, trying to get a good look at the place since he hadn't had a good chance to yet with everything that had been going on with meeting Guy, and then Saber. This was really one of his first good looks around Somarium.

As he got near the Center Plaza, and he saw a man with long red hair sitting down facing away from him... Long red hair.. That meant...!

"Asch" Luke called out, his adrenaline suddenly rising at the thought that he was probably about to get yelled at, or attacked. He started going closer... And it was only then that he realized the man was wearing pink. That COULDN'T be Asch!

Zelos blinked, looking around at the sudden call of Asch's name. He half expected the brat to pop out somewhere and hit him, as per usual. Not seeing said brat though, he turned to look for where the call came from, a little surprised to see the clone instead.

"Oh. Luke, right? What are you doing calling for that double of yours?"

"Sorry! I thought you were someone else and I..." Luke was in the middle of explaining when what Zelos had said registered in his head. This guy had just called him by his name! But, he'd never seen him before in his life! "Wait a second... You know me?"

It wasn't really all that uncommon so far for people Luke didn't know to come up to him, already knowing who he was, but it was beginning to get really confusing!

Well, Zelos still wasn't quite used to the other side of how people left Somarium. After all, he kept leaving and coming back with full knowledge, why didn't other people?

"Of course I do. Asch introduced me to you, in a way. Not that we exactly get along, but."
