Setsuna-san! [Waving at her. Tsubomi's flush with the season with a couple of presents already giftwrapped.]

[Turning around...] Ah, hello there Ms. Tsubomi. You look well today!

Yeah, I'm so glad that you're around. I was out shopping and I thought about you. Here! I know it's early but merry christmas! [And she hands her a box that was festively giftwrapped.]

[Very cautiously, she undoes the bow and opens the box...]

[Subaru had been out doing some shopping and picking up gifts for Kamui, Serenity, and a few other people that he had met since coming to Somarium. He had been sure to dress warmly, in fact his outfit had actually been laid out for him kind of the same way that Hokuto had always done. Seeing the gigantic Christmas tree Subaru had to go over and investigate, amazed by its size and the way that it was decorated so elaborately.]

Uwahh it's amazing. Look at all of the lights, and the bows on the presents.

[Enthralled by the tree Subaru didn't notice the gust of wind until it had snatched the list out of his hand and sent it flying through the air with him chaising it. Luckily he managed to catch it, though he realized suddenly that there was now a girl standing directly in front of him.]

I'm sorry my list got caught in the wind and I didn't see you there, I'm sorry.

[Smile.] You don't need to apologise, it's quite all right.

What kind of list do you have there?

[Subaru smiles, straightening up from where he had bowed several times while apologizing.]

Haha, well it's a shopping list. I wanted get a few people presents but I wasn't sure what to get so I asked others for some ideas.

[Subaru turned the list around so the other would be able to see it.] So wrote them down so that I wouldn't forget anyone, and could remember what to get them.

[Setsuna takes in the contents of the list.]

These items... do people really desire things of such little utility?

[Rose hasn't been here long, so her trip to Somni is more of an exploratory outing than containing any real purpose. She's checking out the people, trying to figure out what it is, exactly, that makes this place tick. It all seems pretty normal, more than you'd expect from an alien dream world. Everything is decked out in holiday form, everyone is smiling, cheerful, happy.

Everyone except the dark-haired woman by the tree. She frowns. Should she really be getting to know people here? She might be here a while, it couldn't hurt.

She wanders over, smiling softly.]

Not a fan of the holidays?

[Like someone flipped a switch, her face shifts to a smile.] Oh, you mean this celebration?

I was just thinking to myself about how I have never seen anything quite like this.

Really? They don't go all... overboard for Christmas where you're from? Back home, they stick up a giant tree like this every year. It's lovely, but I suppose you get a bit used to it after a while.

No, not at all. In fact, I was wondering if this level of merriment was normal or just a side-effect of this world.

[Touma stared at the beautifully decorated Christmas Tree. Thanks to unfortunate incident, he doesn't remember any previous Christmases he celebrated in his life. Hopefully his first one would be great. Even if it's in this strange place.

While contemplating on who exactly he would spend Christmas with (and realizing he didn't really know anyone that well here), he noticed a stoic girl wearing inappropriate clothing for the cold weather. Being the white knight that he is a gentleman he walked over to Setsuna to give her his jacket.]

You really should be wearing something warmer than that. Here.

[Without even waiting for a response, Touma draped his jacket over Setsuna]

[She instinctively jerks back and away from him, spinning around to face her jacket-dispensing assailant. Her scowl quickly fades to puzzlement as she grips onto the jacket- about to throw it off- and stops, realising what he's done.]

What are you doing?

[Touma flinched in surprise at Setsuna's sudden movement and visually shrunk back at the sight of her scowling face.]

You looked cold so I gave you my jacket.

[Touma smiled awkwardly.]

Sorry for surprising you.

[Her posture relaxes, and her cold look of bemusement becomes a smile.]
