Hatori had just been passing by when he saw the man on sitting on the ground. In a thin kimono. There was no way that could be good for his health. Still, he wasn't sure if he could help him. With a sigh, he decided he would at least try and went over.
"Are you alright?"
It was the best question to begin with in circumstances like these. It got straight to the point and gave him an idea of what he needed to know.
The newcomer looked up. "Ahh, I think I am, physically, at least. Bit startled and disoriented: I'd just gone to sleep a few minutes ago, and when I woke up, I was here," he replies, friendly, even chuckling a bit at his odd circumstances.
Then growing more serious, he asks, "Is this a dream of some kind? It's a really vivid one if it is."
So he's just arrived then. That was troubling. Still, Hatori just nodded at that before leaning down to hold out his hand so he could offer to help him up. Sitting on the ground couldn't be comfortable.
He blinks, perplexed, and shakes his head. "How can that be? I mean, how could anyone fall asleep in one world and wake up in another? It kinda doesn't make much sense."
Last fall, he'd been too new to Somarium to let the chill and the fall air bother him much. This year, though, between his recent dreams revealing more than he'd ever wanted to and the moments that left him constantly uncertain about what sort of person he wanted to be, or what and who he was underneath all of his masks and acts, Muraki couldn't help remember Kyoto and the death he still believed he'd narrowly escaped

Tsuzuki was just starting to grasp the notion that he likely wasn't in Meifu any more, and his curiosity was about to lead him to have a look around, when he heard it: that voice, the last one he wants to hear right now or at any other time, the voice that entrances him as much as it repels him.
He almost jolts a bit as he turns to face the source of that voice. "Muraki?! Don't tell me this is where you escaped to," he snaps.
Muraki chuckled at the sound of that familiar voice and its equally familiar hatred. Tsuzuki couldn't forgive him for killing even though his job required taking lives as well. They weren't as different as they seemed, no matter how reluctant Tsuzuki was to admit it.
"This is where I found myself as death seemed certain. What do you mean 'escaped'?"
"Don't twist my words around," he snaps. "And don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about, either: you escaped from that inferno, how else can I describe it?!"
((OOC: please pretend Fef beat Muraki to getting to him ;~; ))The cool wind blew through the trees, brushing long black strands around her face. She was still mostly cold-tolerant; one had to be, to work so far underwater. But the Piscean beauty wasn't thinking much about the lake right now; no, right now she was exploring

The newcomer stands up, shivering a bit and slipping his hands inside his wide sleeves. "Hoo, it's cold out here," he murmurs., looking around himself. "I wonder what thus place is: some kind of vacation resort? Looks kind of cozy, but I hope it's warmer indoors than it is out here."
It's autumn, but there's no snow on the ground yet, and Souji is wearing only the kimono of the Shinsengumi uniform. The haori just makes him feel... flashy.
Still, though, he was much more warmly dressed than the man lying on the cold ground, and he stands over him curiously.
The newcomer blinks and sits up, looking down at himself. "Yeah, it's a bit cold: I was sleeping in my world, safe and sound, but somehow I woke up here."
Souji holds out a hand to the stranger-- he's obviously unarmed and doesn't seem to pose much of a risk in his thin yukata.
"You wouldn't want to catch a cold! I found an empty house to sleep in, maybe you could find one too. Although some new clothes wouldn't be a bad idea..."
The newcomer grins. "A house would be great, but let's start with some warmer clothes," he says, shivering. "It's too cold for this, but I suppose you can't help what you're wearing when you show up here."
It was not every day that one found a man sleeping on the ground.
It certainly wasn't every day that one found a man sleeping on the ground in such inadequate attire. Wasn't he cold in that? Omi paused in his run of errands to stare at the snoozing figure further down the road. He'd never seen the man before, so it was possible he'd only just arrived.
The man's questions to the air after he woke seemed to confirm as much. With a small smile, Omi walked over and offered a hand of assistance in standing.
The newcomer looks up, blinking his violet eyes, then smiles and takes the offered hand. "Thanks, and yeah, it's a bit of a shock, falling asleep in one place and waling up in another," he says.
Omi is struck at first by the violet eyes, reminded of Aya's. He blinks but shakes it off quickly, smiling more broadly. "At least you didn't end up in the middle of a scarecrow field. I'm Omi. What's your name?"

"New? It's a little disorienting, isn't it?"
