The cool wind blew through the trees, brushing long black strands around her face. She was still mostly cold-tolerant; one had to be, to work so far underwater. But the Piscean beauty wasn't thinking much about the lake right now; no, right now she was exploring!
And, even though she'd spent most of her life underwater alone but for Gl'bgolyb, she found herself feeling a little lonely for the other trolls. Perhaps it was the time they'd spent together in the Veil, or the battles they had fought in Sgrub...
Feferi turned the corner and narrowed her eyes, flattening as much as she could against the wall. What's this? Tall, lanky, dark hair, green garments...
Somehow the man reminded her a lot of an older John Egbert. Weird.
A thought came to her, and Feferi grinned, slipping further into the shadows. A new human? Perhaps this one might be interesting, or at least have a sense of humor. Feferi didn't do very much trolling, but she enjoyed it when she did, and this seemed a good opportunity.

The newcomer stands up, shivering a bit and slipping his hands inside his wide sleeves. "Hoo, it's cold out here," he murmurs., looking around himself. "I wonder what thus place is: some kind of vacation resort? Looks kind of cozy, but I hope it's warmer indoors than it is out here."
