[it had already been a long, hard week, but the cafe's renovation and remodeling was coming along nicely. in another week, it should be back and operation

[Hikaru was just wondering by,after the flood, she was wondering how everything was. During her walk she saw much damage that once was a beautiful city, Somni. It was still beautiful to Hikaru, but it obvious that the flood had taken a toll on it.

On her way to check out the park, she couldn't help but notice the endearing scene of one being united with a dog. The golden retriever reminds Hikaru so much of her own dog, Hikari.]

She's so cute! It seems she missed you a lot.

Haha, she's cute but-oof! [and once again knocked down.] A little too strong now!

[now wrestles her off, which wasn't too difficult because Marie spotted another target.]

AH! MARIE NO!!

[SHE'S RUNNING RIGHT TOWARD HER!]

[Hikaru watches as dog races towards her, despite being told not to. But Hikaru stands her ground, actually opening her arms wide to greet the pooch.]

Do you want to say hello to me now? Come on, girl.

[Marie leaps up and Hikaru goes down also tackled to the ground by the friendly retriever, but she doesn't seem hurt at all. Hikaru is simply laughing,and rubbing behind Marie's ears just the right way.]

Why hello. It's nice to meet you. Is your name Marie? What a pretty name for a good dog. I'm Hikaru. [ Hikaru didn't mind getting dirty, especially since she was having fun.]

[and this is Tamaki scrambling and rushing over.]

Aaaah I'm so sorry!! She's always been friendly but she's usually not like this!!!

[Wow, you had really ought to train your dog a bit better, Tamaki. In Austria's opinion, anyway.]

Are you all right, Tamaki? [Because being tackled by a dog would probably hurt him, so you know.]

[she's just happy 8( she's a good dog!]

Haha, yes I'm fine. [manages to sit up as the golden retriever comes to his side before moving toward Austria. mooore peeeople.]

[Good dogs don't jump! But Austria is used to dogs and doesn't mind them if they behave, so he holds his hand out as Marie moves closer. Don't you dare jump, puppy.]

Encouraging her jumping will only make her more likely to do it, you know.

[she's kind of getting that "This guy is very serious" tone and looks up at Austria before bumping his hand with her wet nose.

in the meantime, Tamaki was taking the opportunity to stand up and brush himself off before looking at the older man a little sheepishly.]

She usually tends to just jump me. This is actually the first time I've seen her since the flood so...[nervous laugh.] But you're right. She does tend to get rather excitable.

[Mozart hasn't actually seen a real dog before. He's watching in horror as Tamaki is pinned down. Please tell him all dogs aren't like this.]

[Mozart takes a step or two back. Why do you look like you want to give me kisses, Marie?]

Ah-[clearly not a dog person. will be holding her back the neck to keep her back. ...or try to anyway.]

[It's been a long time since Ciel went anywhere outside of the village of Espoir, except when forced out because of the flood. Why today is different, is hard to say. Perhaps it's restlessness, or perhaps he just wants to get away from the confines of his house. Normally, he welcomes the solitude, but...

Then he sees the spectacle outside, and pauses. A dog, huh? He's always liked dogs, but he hasn't had one in years now.

So he just... stops, watching, not even aware that he probably looks a little strange, just watching from a short distance away.]

[he won't be watching for long, because Marie has caught his scent and is turning toward him, tail wagging and giving a friendly bark.]
